Can anyone explain to me why my opponents blowfish was a 2/2 before the start of the battle at 1:14? I have no clue how that could happen

I love how at the start you mention how you “lost your best sniper” the badger by switching to the other pack, and it still ended up being your strongest sniper and nuking your opponent’s big unit for the last two wins, it’s poetic

The two badgers on the enemy team that clutched both of the last 2 wins were legendary. I had to replay that part to truly witness it's glory in action

I just subscribed after realizing you killed my squad at 2:50 and I unknowingly helped you with your challenge. I was the Dense Shovels and remember your squad confusing me as you obliterated my guys with blowfish hedgehog damage.

Arena isn't live, you wouldn't remember this happening against this specific person because you never actually went against them even if your team did. Entirely possible that was your team though, and that you played against a different blowfish hedgehog build.

@@MemekingSupreme While it's true that the battles don't occur live, there's nothing (to my knowledge) that suggests that the matchups aren't live (meaning the game might be picking teams from other players as they are playing at the same time as you are), and although I seem to remember a video featuring versus mode disproving this, people that are matched up might still play each other’s teams, it can just make you both play the other's team without your adversary themselves being present. I'm just saying that although it is unlikely, it's still possible that it could work this way.

Or maybe since the widespread idea of matching is that the game chooses a team that was played in the near past to go against your team, perhaps both of them were playing around the same time but at one point in time (eg. Turn 7) skootie pressed end turn before them while at another point in time (eg. In the video, turn 8) they pressed end turn before skootie and they kinda got matched up with each other at different points in time. Kinda cool if you think about it

I won with this idea too and it is really fun. It is weak to high hp enemies, so keeping 1~2 skunk would be much stable.

I think it'd be fun to have a second timer that starts when you first start attempting a specific build. 😅

Cool video. I'd be happy to see more. A few tips for next time though: It might be helpful if you decreased the battle speed in order to improve legibility. It was kind of hard to parse what was happening in this video. (Especially in this build, with so many weird interactions going on.) Also, if you're going to use external music (which was nice), then you should probably mute the game's music. The duelling soundtracks were distracting. Great video though. Keep up the good work!

Good game. I tried a sniper (hybrid) build myself and had no idea how to make it work in the mid-late game against all those buffed up tank teams on the opposite side. I completely skipped the hedgehogs since I figured that hp are low on my team as is and tried using blowfish/elephant until I get into crocodile-, dolphin, leopard and snake territory. But that late in to the game, the damage output of those doesn't do much anymore by itself, it seems.

yeah I think the leopard is super strong, but in this sniper only build I think the hedgehog onslaught is the way to go

You definitely didn't think your hedgehog ordering through on every turn lol. Glad it worked out but there were at least 4 turns where you sacrificed damage for no discernible benefit.

You did better this round than I normally do without a challenge :)

I once had a sniper team with Dolphin Tiger Skunk Parrot Croc (tiger and parrot were honorary snipers lol). Please try this one, I managed to win with my team barely having a 20+ on any stat. Plus, the sweet scene of a back badger getting sniped by a croc is always a treat.

A blowfish with a sniper rifle is very funny

6:10 surprised no one commented about how the opps badger was your homie that round. Not to mention the last round...

Not sure I'd really call it viable. His last 2 wins were because the people got screwed by their own badger...

Is there a reason you mostly had your stronger units towards the back ? Doesn’t make too much of a difference with the hedge hogs anyway but I always thought typically you want your stronger units in front.

Typically the best units I like to place in the front, but the reason I did it for this run is I wanted my weak hedgehogs to die first and the stronger hedgehogs would survive the first wave and be able to attack atleast once before dying, if the weak ones were in the back they wouldnt be able to attack and would die from the initial hogs

Rhino, dolphin, crocodile and leopard r good candidate for such a challenge

If your opponent in the early rounds wouldn’t have summoned a rat for you you would have lost a heart and the run would have been lost

i found out a really good combo for longer matches ie a custom duel with a lot of life from front to back hedgehog whale tiger blowfish blowfish you can trade out the middle blow fish early game for a cat to level up the tiger witch will finish off the stragelers left behind by the boulder barage

I think i ran into you once in standard. I was dumbfounded.

Finally someone proved that my build can actually work

Hedgehog meta: ultimate edition

Animals that perform attacks outside of direct combat: Fly, hedgehog, pufferfish, cougar, alligator, rhino, snake, octopus (tier 3), tiger cub (mimic), parrot (mimic), dolphin, skunk (lowers health), bat (lowers effective health), micro (lowers effective health). All the ones that come to me off the top of my head. Feel free to reply with the ones, if any, that I forgot

the timer shows minutes but this probably took days

Although that is very true, he is only allowed to use snipers, which the whale is not. Even if it enables snipers to do more sniping, which is probably also why he didn’t use a tiger

Ive been trying to see whats the latest round I can get my consistently drawing and 5 hedgehogs seems like the play haha

How is it that you can do crazy runs like this yet I rarely even make it to mid-tier animals? I'm sick of pigs, mosquitos, ants and fish. I'll get 1-2 wins then all losses and start over. I want to play with the fun animals once and a while.

Here's an even more challenging variation: Win by only sniping (where possible)

What do you think is the best combo in the game?

Tiger fly turkey rooster is nuts, basically anything that plays around the rooster

Can you beat super auto pets only with summoning pets like cricket and spider honey doesnt make other pet a summon type only with the abilities to summon can be used You can use caterpillar cuz the butterfly

I tried using the skunk, but since the tiger and parrot dont actually snipe on their own, I wasnt going to use them which is why I didnt try that strat!

Can you try beating it without losing Sounds impossible but it might be possible

heres a tip on video making, you dont want to leave dead air, just because you put music doesnt change the fact that theres no dialogue. You should have spread your first analysis across the whole video maybe dropping jokes, random thoughts, struggles during run etc, and speaking your entire gameplan throughout. You cant get larger than 10k subs if your playing music over your voice. Good luck friend. Pray to God!

@@Skoottie okay for the full rules. No two pets can share a tier on your team at the same time unless it is the same creature. Even then, you must immediately fuse them ASAP. If you enter battle with two pets with the same tier, immediately abandon the run.
