Physical Human Saga is such an incredible 3rd Person Shooter game. It's definitely a strong contender for that title with the competition being DMC 2 Not much of a fan of the sequel using loot boxes for the cool rocks though, but I guess the dev prefer more bullets to be fired at the enemy instead of rocks thrown at them Also, what a shame Demi Fiend forgor the rule of no demon. Truly he has rejected his humanity

Fun fact! The only type of magic Demi-Fiend can be hit by (besides Almighty) is Earth, for the exact same reason. Also yea, Gun makes this SIGNIFICANTLY more possible

Wow, that Demifiend fight looked significantly better than runs people did with no restrictions back in the day.

If any SMT games need a remaster, it would be these ones. As much as I want to see P1/2 get updated, these games stories need some more breathing room.

some port overs would be sweet on pc, got nocturne and think persona sagas on steam...but no dig dev or smt5 and prob few more haven't made it to wider audience. Lot of these games are in cult game genre vibe but also amazingly well done and really pulled out all stops, need to increase their marketing/advertising and offer games on more platforms only thing standing in way.

Incredible sub-series. It’s a shame that Atlus pretends it never existed outside of the PSN releases 🤷🏽‍♂️ If I could buy it all over again AND earn Trophies & Achievements just by replaying both DDS 1 & 2 on new consoles (maybe even on Steam), I’d die happy! Same with Fallout 3/New Vegas BUT with all the quirks within FNV intact…since the only thing that really makes the game better than FO3 imo is how BROKEN AND GLITCHY/BUGGY IT IS OMG! At least it’s not absolutely broken like the SMT Nocturne release on PSN was 🤷🏽‍♂️

Also for those wondering about "Null Critical" and "Null Sleep", they're mistranslated. They should be called "Critical Cancel" and "Dodge Sleep." Strange Journey fixes the latter by retranslating it as "Sleepwalker"

@@RobinandZephyr After a little more research, I've even figured out why the skills had such weird translations: Null Crit is easy: "Critical Cancel" is too long. The longest skill name in the game is "Celestial Ray" at 13 letters, "Critical Cancel" is 16. But Null Sleep is where things get weird. Most skill names are Japanese Kanji. But Null Sleep's name is "Aboido Suripa." That's not Japanese, that's the English words "Avoid Sleeper" transcribed in Katakana. I have no idea what is up with that, nor why it was translated to "Null Sleep."

An hour later "Wow those Wild Bombs do a lot of damage, still not sure how he's going to tank the Demi-fiend's party" During the fight: "88% counter chance? Me when R&Z drops a new demonless video: Oh, good Me when R&Z starts foreshadowing the Demi-Fiend fight: Oh, god Seriously, this is an absolutely insane accomplishment, and you have easily earned my subscription.

I didn't come here for Demifiend, I came here because I didn't know Human Form was a passive that existed. That being said, ythis run was the impetus for me to play DDS1 and I really enjoyed it, so thanks. It probably would have taken me a lot longer to get around to it otherwise

I'm very glad my obsession with challenge runs lately has led this gem of a channel into my recommended feed. I love SMT, and with this quality in memes- I mean editing I would expect this to be a much bigger channel than it is. Continue to fight the good fight and you'll be there in no time!

10:49 "The enemies are extremely weak." Right before Serph gets bulldozed. Perfect.

The ending cutscene to demi-fiend fight set up and transition were so slick!

The enemy running out of MP thing is hilarious. I'm amazed that even the main game was doable, let alone all the bonus bosses. I'd say Raidou or its sequel would be a vastly more sane challenge, then I remembered both games require demons to progress out of combat. Outside of that, it seems relatively trivial since as far as I'm aware everything can be dodged/d there.

This has got to be one of the most intense Megaten challenge runs I've seen yet, I'm in awe. Great stuff. DDS2 demonless coming next?

Really looking forward to watching this! Got my snacks and drinks ready!

I've heard the DDS Demifiend fight was hell, but thats fucking ridiculous. That being said, I wish I could have that Ragnarok on my Arahabaki in Nocturne... Great video, by the by! This is such a weird challenge run as opposed to the regular "no demon" runs.

I haven't seen anything related to Digital Devil Saga, nor have I played the game in like, a decade xD it's literally the first game I played as a kid that was a turn based RPG. Then comes this absolutely insane video of an even more insane challenge run that just shatters my mind, like good freaking lord. Fighting Demi-fiend is horrifying as is, but doing it in human form, I would completely deny even the slightest possibility that it can be done. But you've done it, good sir, and I'm still utterly baffled. I wish you the best in whatever you do next and godspeed brother. I'm just going to spend the next few hours trying to swallow this more xD

This is really well done, with all the explanation and as far as tackling the superbosses. I do not comprehend how much effort this took, but man you are a beast. Good stuff! Also loved the Heat moments lmao.

Man, I was impressed before when you beat Nocturne without using demons. Now I'm even MORE impressed. While Digital Devil Saga might not be as well-known for it's difficulty as Nocturne, this challenge might even put it above Nocturne in difficulty. And I'd say that Demi-Fiend ALONE more than makes up for the difficulty difference between the two games. Yet despite that, you STILL managed to perservere and beat him. The amount of dedication is inspiring.

I did something like this myself for both games, but I still haven't gotten around to editing ANY of what I recorded. I also didn't have the patience to legitimately attempt Demi-fiend this way, so kudos to you guys for doing that!

DDS2 will be interesting, but I don't see any way Satan is possible. The fight hard requires you to be fully buffed at the end of every four turns or else he instant kills the party. Even if you get through that, the end of the fight also forces you to deplete his last 1500 HP without letting him get a turn or else he uses Diarahan.
