I didn't finish the video but so far you didn't use the skill when you hold block and the shoot button. This is really useful and since your constantly using stims you'll never run out of force

I have a challenge for you: Beat Jedi survivor only using dual wield. No force attacks and blasters unless traversal and puzzles.

I think the move where you go slow mo and tag enemies with the blaster, Cal does a side stance pose with the blaster up charging, you can keep shooting doing that specific move even with one charge in the blaster. I love doing that with the blaster stance.

I believe you can get out of the raider "taser" atack by switching stances and jumping or dodging, and it skips the kicking animation.

Actually, Cal can beat the game using only the Force. Equipt the Purity perk and utilize the Impact skill of the crossguard stance and the Repulsing Burst of the Double Blade stance.

15:00. If you use the aerial dash strike with the single blade here, you can propell Cal to the platform. P.S. To all those who say that this breaks the rules of the challenge, as long as the attack doesn't hit the enemy, you can count it as a navigational force use, like wall running, double jumping, air dashing, and evading.

@@Shenaniloon That tacktick comes in handy.

A potential idea for a challenge might be "Purity's Revenge". You HAVE to run purity (and take the massive enemy damage increase associated) but can only do damage with the force (or by deflecting blaster bolts). So you can block with your lightsaber, but can only use the force for damage (I just tested and kicking does do the increased damage so that's off the table unfortunately). So you're stuck using purity and risking insane damage, but can't take advantage of it to deal insane damage (your only pure force damage is the repulsing blast which is wimpy even with purity). Purity also means you can't easily take advantage of all those stims you bring across in NG+. If you do decide to do it, then I'm suspecting that any blaster wielding foes will be easy, but animals and melee opponents will be tough (unless you're near a cliff), with bosses being painful as hell. Also groups of blaster wielding foes will be able to quickly overwhelm your block meter and instantly kill you while you're block-stunned. I'm not sure what you'll decide to do for Vader though. Also, I feel like if they make another Jedi game, they should rebalance the blaster so that it has more ammo, but nerf it in other ways For example, I can imagine requiring you to semi-aim with the blaster rather than auto-aim (kinda like RDR2 aiming), and requiring manual reload which can be cancelled by taking damage, or if you block/attack with your lightsaber. They may have to make other changes to properly balance that, but I feel like the lack of ammo even during a normal gameplay makes the blaster less interesting than it otherwise could be (it's still one of my favourite stances tbf).

@@Shenaniloon If you want to make it an even bigger challenge, you can also leave on the tougher enemies perk lol. I don't think it'd make a huge difference most of the time as the tougher enemies usually have some ranged attack that you can turn back on them (missiles or blasters), but beasts will be a problem.

i have a really dumb challenge idea Jedi Survivor but you can't attack enemies directly basically you can only use Bode Or Merrin's special move to attack anyone and if they are not around you can use jedi mind tricks on the enemies to make them infight (and you're allowed to hack droids)

I do like the essence of it tho it seems like hell 😅 I definitely feel it's not doable tho since hacking would require being outside of combat unless they somehow have low health and even mind trick would always leave at least one survivor who I wouldn't be able to do anything to. Plus the boss fights would be impossible. Tis a fun idea tho for sure!

hey great video I have an idea for you. On new game plus there is a perk called equilibrium that shoots your damage up to something like 5x you should try doing a run with just the force and this perk equipt so that you can deal some proper damage. the substantial increase in damage could probably even get past ravyis’s regeneration so that wouldn’t be a problem either

So tragically, I just experimenting using both perks, on their own, without and all that, but sadly the damage upgrade applies to the lightsaber alone as far as I can tell. My blaster damage and force damage did not change. It was a good chance to experiment so I appreciate it nonetheless

What if you played this like how you played Fallen Order, with no skill points or healing? If you want, you could also go for a full Fallen Order run, and stick purely with Single and Double Bladed, with no perks.

While I do have more Jedi Survivor work, I'm also doing a BG3 run, another Ghost of Tsushima run, a mass effect trilogy one life run, saints row 4 no guns, Force Unleashed run, Fallout 4 and many more games. Star wars is often my main go, but I like to keep a variety of games!

Nice attention! No, I dont forget. I find many fights do better with lock on and many fights do worse with it. Messes with my ability to maneuver and see everyone if I lock on since Cal focuses too much for my liking at times

I do get angry at certain times, but never rage in terms of anything heavy. My controllers all die peaceful natural deaths from buttons wearing out. I killed my dodge button on my last controller in my lightsaber run from overuse
