The lore for the Striker is actually pretty cool, it was made by some guys who wanted to help their disabled veteran friend bowl again. I think he was in the Alaska campaign but don't quote me on that.

If you look at the energy of a bowling ball, theoretically, the Striker could be horrifically effective. A 16 pound bowling ball traveling at around 70 miles per hour had roughly the same energy as a .500 S&W Magnum round.

I’ve found that if you stick the bowling ball launcher from The Striker onto that Two Shot fat man that Arturo sells then you can pretty much get infinite ammo and more damage from what I remember.

I like how the striker canonically can cause incredible amounts of property damage from medium range, but can't be used to bowl in-game, the very thing it was designed to do.

I like the idea that Desdemona opens the door waiting to meet the mysterious person who has made there way the them, then the last thing she sees is a bowling ball come out of the shadows

Can you beat FONV, but every time you kill a hostile opponent, you MUST pick up and equip whatever weapon they were carrying. This means you couldn't just rely on one weapon or strat - I think that could be a pretty good challenge!

During the BoS blimp intro when you launched a bowling ball at it I just have the mental image of the brotherhood pilot guys just hearing a really faint "THUNK" and then being concerned as to what the hell that was.

Oh yes, you can indeed beat the game with only the striker, it is oddly ammo efficient when used in combination with the big boy. I was running a vats built when I tried this back in 2017. I called the built "Bowler Bill". Now that I think about it "bowling bill" would've probably been funnier.

Fun fact: You can buy the unique Fatman from Arturo in Diamond city that shoots two projectiles at once. You can modify it to shoot bowling balls by taking the mod off of the striker. Causing it to fire two bowling balls at once, therefore infinite bowling balls.

This just goes to prove my theory that fallout 4 breaks if you have a 10 luck and charisma character. I usually start with 10 charisma and about 7 or 8 luck and just fly through the game.
