yes please this sounds like an actully interesting run since so many enemys have complete rad immunity

I wonder how bothersome it would be to win using nukes only. 'Cause, you know, a) they're rare; b) they have a massive radius and don't have any friends; c) you have to get through enemy-infested, yet very tight areas; Not too hard, probably.

Someone pointed out you can get an upgrade for it to do a little bonus electrical damage so I'd probably be relying on that but from what I understand it's not a lot so it will be a slog... can't wait lol

This is a great video but I keep getting distracted by how absolutely bonkers it is that gun bashing requires 8 strength for its perk when unarmed and melee weapons only take 1 and 2 respectively

Gamma guns are so op on survival. I remember this one time I was walking through South Boston and I got attacked by a child of atom who hit me multiple times with the gamma gun. I kept using radaway which made my character more tired which eventually left me barely able to walk. I found a mattress on the floor in a police station and slept on it but that was a bad idea because it meant I couldn't reload to before I fought the child of atom. I generally thought the playthrough was over since the police station was surrounded by enemies i couldn't beat whilst only being able to walk, but luckily I found one bed in some destroyed house.

That is scarily accurate to the name I came up with

I think the reason that the attack dog had a skull by his name is because that the named raider who hops in the power armour doesn’t become a boss until they actually enter the power armour, but every raider base has to have a boss so the game assigns boss status to the nearest non human, non turret enemy, which just so happened to be the attack dog

Did you know? You can counter/parry enemy melee attacks while in 3rd person using gun bash? I think it only works on human enemies though

I actually only found that out when testing stuff before getting the footage, decided I wouldn't use it as I used them alot in the last video and didn't want things to get too repetitive :)

that gamma gun playthrough would actually be really interesting- iirc some enemies are completely immune to it and the ammo is rare

my favorite "gun bash" is the minigun with the shredder attachment. it's op af. In fallout 76 i have one specifically as an ammo saver to use against ghouls and crap. with the right perk combos the shredder minigun is kind of broken and op and I love it lol. Enemies melt as they run into the blender

Idk how I never noticed this before. The brotherhood is basically the adeptus mechanicus

I wonder how the opposite of these kinds of runs would go. Something like "Can you beat the game only using a Fat Man?" Ammo might be a problem to solve somehow, but suddenly the question isn't if you can kill enemies, but how to kill them without constantly killing yourself.

I've been absolutely loving your channel so far! I'd love to see some challenge runs with some of the more "gimicky" weapons; you mentioned the Gamma Gun, the Cryolator might be a good pick too. Looking forward to future videos!

100% yes, I would LOVE to see a Gamma Gun playthrough. No one ever talks about them. Though there might be a reason for that...

For the National Federation Stockpile I always go in the back way via the Lonely Church near Sunshine Tidings Co-op. It makes it so much easier.

4:20 inside the access office is not the only terminal you can use to deactivate turrets at fort hagen. Inside the wood shack up and to the right is another terminal, you can take the long way around so the turret can't shoot you and turn it off from there.

Your railroad situation in this video reminds me of my first fo4 playthrough: I killed everybody in the institute the first time I visited. Literally everybody. Hit the limit on courser respawns by camping in a corner and spamming fat mans! I then returned to the railroad whereupon they said "we need to prepare to take out the institute". How did they not realise that the psychopaths who play this game would not try and kill whole factions just cos, really makes you think.

I have an idea for a challenge, Can you beat Fallout (anyone) as the Lock-Picking Lawyer. Meaning you can only use the gear you find in locked containers

Normally I don’t like quick runs like this but your video was done so very well it was enjoyable and funny to see you bashing your way through the game.

id love to see a "gun stabbing" run aswell. small tip for that, i believe double tapping the melee button makes your character stun the enemy by tipping them over, giving you a few free hits. especially helpfull with tanky enemies. only works with humans and synths tho i think.

I have learned a lot about more effective combat techniques through these videos. Plus, they are also hilarious. Thanks!

Nerbit, you can pretty easily guarantee any speech check in the game combining charisma gear, booze and grape mantats

you can buy the high powered magnet from myrna in diamond city. some caravan merchants may have them as well.

you could have mapped the gun bash button to the right trigger instead of it being the default right bumper, therefore causing you not being able to accidentally shoot someone

I like Smacking a raider with my long 44 magnum revolver ( Kellogg’s Revolver ) . It’s pretty satisfying to do when you perform it right . It makes you look cool as ice 🧊 and you save plenty of ammo ;)

Just gonna throw this out there, the minigun with that one mod does bash damage and works with the basher tree, and can be used with no ammo think it would be a cool way to do this challenge in a more fun way

You should do a run where you set your level to max without getting any points or perks. So you're stuck at level 1, but everything is leveled to max.

Right, so for anyone rewatching this video, gun bashing in Fallout 4 is weird. Instead of using a set damage number which is then improved through relevant perks, weapon modifications, and legendary effects, what determines the damage a gun bash does is actually how much damage the weapon does. So the best thing to do of you just want to cave someone’s face in using the butt of your gun, improve your weapon, as long as the gun does more damage, so to will your gun bashes.

fallout 4 physics be like: *big ass nuke doesnt take out a super mutant* *a damned small pistol 1 shots the super mutant*

Quick tip:you can change from first to third person every time you swing your weapon to cancel the animation and spam it quickly

The animations in fallout 4 are awesome, not many people know about the melee takedowns and that gun bash finisher is sweet too

Trust me, they didn't EVEN realize that cover system was a thing in Fallout 4 either, and certain animation require 3rd person view to do it to stun the enemy

Best bashing is empty minigun shredder bashing. It's a blender and works beautifully

The tip about fighting the Courser up close was useful to me in my latest run, as i set it to very hard and even the fat man in fort hagen armory wasnt cutting it. I killed him to death with pickmans blade:3
