2:24 It's ice in Angry Birds Classic. In later Angry Birds games sometimes it's glass and sometimes it's ice. Some of the later games have both glass and ice which have slightly different visuals whilst other later games only have one or the other. The Blues have a type advantage against both glass and ice so it doesn't really matter but I just wanted to share this trivia

Funny that it's ice, yet when it breaks, it plays a glass shattering SFX and glass shard particles fall over. Seems like not even the devs can decide if it's one or the other.

I'd argue that Matilda is actually one of the worst birds in the challenge. Since having Matilda means the game is expecting you to use explosions, that means Matilda-focused levels will have far stronger defenses than what you're capable of destroying without the egg bombs. Great video though

Honestly, Hal centered levels are worse. You haven’t encountered any yet because he hasn’t been added but it must be awful not being able to use the main gimmick of those levels

I DISLIKE THIS MARIO LUMA THING SO MUCH ITS SO UNSETTLING TO LOOK AT... _buuuuuut_ I gotta admit this video is rather nice...

I've never been an angry birds fan but this challenge was awesome! 6-15 in particular was awesome. The manually-timed midair bomb explosion to spin the pigs into the perfectly timed pig-on-pig bank shot was so slick. Hope we see a part 2!

(not including golden eggs) And also the designs, the birds have the chrome design but the pigs have the first design?

I'm going to admit I was going to attempt this challenge since I've been 3 starring every episode but you definitely did it a lot better than I would've. And I just love how all the jokes you made didn't feel forced and you didn't randomly stretch images. I loved this video. The experience was the definition of enjoyable. And I'd love to see you tackle this challenge with The Big Setup, Ham 'Em High, and Mine and Dine. Maybe you could even make this a series where you complete every level in this version! I'm going to admit, I was surprised that the first three episodes are possible. (Also, I have strategies to three star the entire Poached Eggs imprinted in my muscle memory.)

2:23 I used to be obsessed with this series and can give a canonical answer: It's glass. HOWEVER. In Angry Birds Space, the Ice Bird can "freeze" all materials that aren't glass, and the material acts identical to glass when frozen. So in reality, it's interchangeable! Although it is canonically glass. But it's made of ice. But it's definitely glass.

Tbh I never thought I’d see a challenge run of Angry Birds of all games. This one was really cool and I’d love to see a part 2!

You don't have to have subs to be good at editing. Take JoJoJets for example, he's a small Zelda KZreadr who has insane editing skills that can _almost_ compare to AsumSaus. And I can almost guarantee you that you have no idea who these two KZreadrs are

Ohh this is one of the most interesting challenge videos I've seen! Imagine how more difficult this would be with the gravity mechanic of Angry Birds Space, especially the levels dedicated to Chuck, since you can direct where he flies to when activating the speed, so not having that would be a major pain, maybe even impossible if I remember one specific level correctly

Star Wars would probably be impossible because of how reliant it is on powers, but Space bridges them to the point where it might still be possible. Still gonna be difficult though, and the lack of gravity is gonna hurt a lot since that's kind of your main weapon here.

Hal levels are going to be awful since he can’t rely on his ability to go backwards. Then the big bird himself will make everything easy

I discovered this channel right now, and I cant believe what an awesome first episode this is. Waiting for the next part.

I've loved Angry Birds since I was a little kid, so I naturally loved watching this. I remember wondering a lot about birds' strength properties, with powers or not, so this answers questions I've actually had before too! It's nice seeing someone else treat Angry Birds as an actual video game, and not just a vapid corporate time-waster for little kids. The latter is a lot more common than you'd think, for one of the mobile game classics. Also, props for getting sponsored by an entire college, that's something I haven't seen anyone be able to do before.

I'm going to guess that the people calling Angry Birds a vapid corporate time-waster for little kids are Facebook moms who believe that video games are the sole cause of violence and removing them will end all violence globally. Lots of people still see Angry Birds as a classic mobile game so I'm pretty sure this Angry Birds hating crowd you're talking about is still in the minority. Shocked they're not as loud as I thought they'd be. Maybe they're all contained in Facebook or smth.

I think the reason bomb gets lit when he hits something is because of the heat the impact makes combined with the facts that bombs feathers are literally made of gunpowder that can regenerate when it blows up.

This content is super underrated

Great video! Your attempt of 6-15 was particularly impressive, that one felt like a huge mix of trick shots and being really lucky. If it was me trying it before seeing this video, I would've deemed it impossible.

Fun fact: 711 actually collaborated with angry birds once! And with that collab, they made bird and pig mugs.

I don't want to discount anything, but one bird sounds impossible to me. Mainly because of 6-15; I don't know how Bomb could take out all the enemies there. Maybe if the rules allow you to waste birds and choose the one you want, then using a Hal could do it?

I'd love to see you eventually complete the entire game.

Its ice. The angry birds build set, where you are given blocks from the angry birds series and need to make your own constructions to knock down, had a second set which added those blue blocks. And it was called angry birds on thin ice.

This was super interesting and all the unique strategies were really satisfying. I'd love to see you finish the whole game at some point!

Okay this could be super cool to put in the speedrunning category. Idk if a lot of people would run it but it opens up a lot of different strategies where the any% atm is very stale and super fast aiming and that is all, not a lot of tricks. I really feel like this opens something new up in the game and i might even do it lol.

Hmm, the DK games could make for some interesting challenges. And yeah, thinking of different ways to say "pig" and "bird" was a solid portion of my scripting time lol, glad you appreciated that

I wanted to try this challenge. I was able to complete the big setup and the Tutorial and I was almost able to beat AB Rio smugglers den, Red’s mighty feathers, and AB space Pig bang, and I know Smugglers den is possible, I’m just bad. I couldn’t beat level 20. Sadly, reds mighty feathers and pig bang are impossible, I couldn’t beat level 1 for reds mighty feathers and level 20 for pig bang. Smugglers den Level 20: you need to get 2 lucky shots where you break the glass pillar and the first box tower with one bird, then break the final 2 box towers with the second bird, then, with the last bird, snipe the furthest cage on the right. Red’s mighty feathers level 1, When launching your first and second bird, it will pause gameplay and FORCE you to tap/click the screen. Also, you can’t reach the last pig so you have to use the power again. Sadly, this level is impossible. Pig bang level 20: all 3 pigs are blocked off by a planet and they are literally unreachable, impossible. Also, I think from here on out, birds are all going to be the same tier as bomb (Because Terrence strong and auto activations) except for red with mighty feathers… which is going to be the same tier as red.

Watching a bird fly and waiting for a power up only to not do anything is the worst thing to happen to my soul
