In this video, I will discuss how the protagonists in Manchester by the Sea and the Women in the Window undergo a journey towards self-forgiveness, where each of them has to come to terms with the consequences of their actions. The protagonists' psychological states can be split into four different phases. This video (Part 1) focuses on phase 1 and phase 2. By exploring this theme of self-forgiveness, I also hope to provide a clearer understanding of how to think about self-forgiveness, and how you can practice it in your own life so that you can heal and grow from your past mistakes.
