I really enjoy your videos. I like the escape from my life. I was T-boned 9 years ago that snapped my back at the L5-L6 (I have an extra lumbar vertebra) and I am paralyzed from the waist down. So my traveling consists of a special scooter in public and I try to use a regular wheelchair at home so that I can keep my arms strong. I've been binge-watching your videos. Please keep making them.

The use of silence throughout this video is very reflective of how winter feels. Kinda reminds me of the time our town got snowed in for 3 days back home. I miss those days. Snow brings lots of work to be done but it also brings lots of peace.

When my wife and I retired from our careers and moved to the wilds of Appalachia, we lived for 2 years in a 20' camper. We became closer than we ever had in 28 years of marriage. We survived blizzards, 60+ mph winds, -13F temperatures and having to haul water from our spring up the hill to the camper. It made moving into the house we built (literally- we built it ourselves) a truly uplifting experience. We now take nothing for granted, count our blessings daily and cherish every moment we have on this good Earth.............................

Elsa, I’ve been having the worst anxiety for the past 8-ish months. It’s been SO hard to fall asleep bc my mind races. Oddly enough, after coming back across your recent videos (I was a subscriber from back in your makeup days!) I’ve finally been able to relax and find a sense of calm. Something about your videos seriously calms me down and they’re genuinely the best thing to watch before bed. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you!

@@faeriesmak It's weird in the mountains where there's a lot of snow because sometimes it's not actually that cold.. But yeah, still probably not fun. When I was homeless my friend let me shower in this apartment he was fixing up for his boss that only tried to heat to keep the pipes from bursting..which they still did eventually because his boss was a slum lord. There was no shower curtain but the water was hot and felt way too good.. The worst part was getting out.. Took a lot of coaxing myself.. Then my hair would instantly start freezing. Winter is not a good time to be homeless.

I love how Kamp pounces into the show like a fox!😊. FYI....when my husband and I were heavy into four wheeling, we learned that if you are in motion in deep snow or mud, as long as you are rolling forward and you feel like you may stop, turn the wheel continuously back and forth to the left and right while still going in a sort of straight line following the road, you will find that even though you may lose momentum, you won’t come to a complete stop because the tires will try to bite into new earth.

The Scamp needs an insulated skirt around the bottom perimeter to close the gap much like a mobile home would have. You're losing more heat through your floor than you should with even a slight cross wind. The wind is pulling your heat away from under the scamp in which the floor is acting like a big heat sink. If you had a skirt or some kind of barrier, the heat escaping through the floor would fill the dead space under the scamp and act as an air insulator. You would find it easier to maintain heat during deep temp drops and especially with wind chill. It could be something that folds up for easy transportation and only needs to be as high as the highest exposed part which is probably going to be the wheel well. If you don't plan on moving any time soon you could build a barrier around the scamp with snow. It needs to be completely walled in all around so wind can't come in under the scamp. Packing it down tight, it would then act much like an igloo holding heat. Your stove would burn more efficiently not having to fight as much heat loss through the floor. It really does make a difference.

People don't seem to understand how freeing taking an outdoor shower like that can be. You always have to be careful keep keys in your pocket make sure doors are unlocked. When you are truly by yourself there's certain safety concerns that you have to maintain even a small slip-up can kill you. Just for fun even in deep winter I go out in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt when it's well below freezing just to experience what being cold really is like. I would say nothing is more freaking than standing out at night taking a pee and staring up at the stars very primal. Job well done to both of you on your snow experience thank you for sharing. That was an amazing video, guys!!! I love your style of filming: letting the gurgle of the poured hot water, the silence, and lots of other sound space in between, and some talking, but only what's necessary. The drone shots were AWESOME sauce. Your intermission/advert had me chuckling -- so well done. Thanks so much for all three of you share. Camp's coat is looking lustrous, too.

I envy both of you so much and am so proud that you are both doing what you love while you are young. I find your cinematography very relaxing And very professional. It’s always nice to have a shower whenever you want. I could never “wait till I get to a gym”. Out of my six dogs I have one very strong-willed male that would take off in a heartbeat! It gets challenging to untangle his leash after he’s been tied up for a while! He’s in, then out, then in, then out...... The one thing I love about your jewelry is in the last video D was talking to you while you were stringing, your reply was a magical “it’s fun!” That makes much better pieces!! Great droning! I always love the overhead shots cruising down a highway!! Fun video! Thanks! Lauri
