Hello and welcome to Spottedmotors.
In this video we team up with @TopdonOfficial and they kindly sent us a Jump Start kit to try out.
We have plenty of project car we could have tried this out on but we thought we would put this to the ultimate test.
Could this start our 800bhp Drag Car?

Good video boys, I does seem to take a while to oil pressure, I've had a few V8's but not an LS and the oil pressure is the straight away?

Good evening Michael. My 5.7LS gives oil pressure straight away. Is there a reason yours takes so long? I’m concerned you could damage the bearings. 🤔

Hi @zepp113 thanks for the comment. my car has instant pressure upon start up I just like to get the oil around the engine and upto pressure before starting the engine especially after its been stood for a while. Do you get good oil pressure on initial cranking ?

It certainly start to show pressure as soon as I crank it.

Yer no concern here. Just like to see the oil pump before firing it into life
