Forces of Nature
Professor Brian Cox combines some of the most spectacular sights on Earth with our deepest understanding of the universe to reveal how the planet's beauty is created by just a handful of forces. In a perfect combination of accessible science and cutting-edge filming techniques, he explores the simplest possible questions about the planet we live on - such as why is water blue? How can a shape defy gravity? Why do bees make hexagonal honeycombs? - in order to reveal deeper truths about the cosmos and the forces of nature that govern everything in it.

I’m for it. It’s safe enough for the kids and teaches them confidence and teamwork young. I’m more worried about that guy’s traps/collarbone at the base

Back in the 80s, we used to do this as members of the SGI youth groups. The difference is that the bottom level was on roller skates and the whole thing rolled across the arena.

If you see every person as a cell in a body this looks amazing in a whole different level. It is like plaquetes stretch in a wound trying to reach the other side's ones that are also trying to reach them.

The language definitely did not sound like Spanish and that flag I almost 100% sure is from Catalonia. The sponsorship from beer Estrella Galicia is another good indicator.

This is a sensationalized vision of what Castells are. They have shown what, five fallen towers and only a succeed one? Normally it would be the opposite. And maybe in a top competition like this one (only once every two years) a fall every two succeed ones. If you look at the stats, it's as safe as playing sports competitions on the weekend.

that's horrifying... the kids falling from the top, why would they make children do that... I just don't get it

Well, you can't make an 80 kg adult climb to the top, the whole structure would collapse. The strongest and heaviest people must be put at the bottom, and the light ones go to the top. And those are the little kids. I know it looks insane, but the number of fatalities is suprisingly low: only three people deaad in the last 40 years. Keep in mind that they don't just plummet to the ground, they fall on top of other people.

No way would I let my child do that. Sure, everyone comments about the child at the end making it to the top, but forget the sight of small children falling several storeys earlier in yje video.

The edition of the video is horrible. It's like if they show you a compilation of kids skying and falling in the most gruesome way, instead of a normal skying session. It's a very safe sport.
