Your kids are cute. And they look a lot like you. Were you that cute as a kid? Lol - Why are you acting like you didn't supervise the whole time? You're standing right there, measuring out pigment, but clearly they went overboard when you didn't say stop, b/c they haven't spent time in nature and application was more fun than realism to them. C'mon. Why do American parents oversell everything their kids do? That isn't necessary to build confidence. Acknowledging effort is all they need to be motivated to do more.

These are very cool and great to teach the boys how to do this. I was glad my dad taught me how so that I could help my kids with their projects for school. I liked to put electricity in them. My son did an Aztec one with a pyramid so we put torches along the path to the human sacrifice and some basic fire pits at ground level. Hid the battery compartment in the bottom step of the pyramid. Had him do his whole presentation and I told him "At the end of your talk about the Aztec people, you can pause and say something like 'This is what it might have looked like at night' and then flip the switch". It was really fun. 3rd grade I think. At the open house later I was in the classroom with him looking at all the kids projects and I heard one kid call excitedly to their parent, Mom, Mom, look at this one -- it LIGHTS UP!! It's so much fun to help your kids shine. I follow a channel that covers some Eagles nests and other birds, her channel is LadyHawk. She might get a kick out of the Eagle one. Very cool. There are nests in trees and nests in craggy places. Lots of Snow inspiration in them all and pretty cool for the one kid to do a similar scene in winter and not winter. I think that's what it was.

Hey thanks so much for the great comment. That was a really good read and put a smile on my face/ That Aztec build your son did sounds so cool! I would have loved to have seen that. Loved that the one kid called out to their parent. Hearing stuff like that puts a big smile on the face doesn't it. Especially it being something your son made. Thanks again for the great comment and glad you enjoyed the video! :)
