2004 cars are only 70% of the size that the 2019 and ongoing cars are. 2022 are a little bit smaller again, but it's just a few cm, nothing really mentionable and not as much as they promised before.

tbf i don’t think it would be faster in reality, on straights for sure but could mess up a lot of balance of the car with engine weight and additional weight of battery

I really drive this car all the time in assetto corsa.

in an online server where there is SF70H and F2004, then in the hands of cool drivers, the average time difference without slicks in favor of f2004 is 2.5 seconds in spa.and in the hands of the average driver, the sf70 drives a lap in 1.48, and the F2004 in 1.43. and the point is primarily in the battery that can only be used for a limited amount of time per lap, and even with maximum charging on braking, the battery does not have time to charge back at the same speed as it is discharged.and it's also about traction control, thanks to which the F2004 opens the gas much earlier in a slow turn.if you do this on the SF70 even with the electrical part disconnected (charging mode) it turned around. it is necessary to work with gas on sf70h very carefully, and on f2004 you can constantly press its gas into the floor, traction control compensates for everything.

Even if u have the 2022 f1 car Tc it would still lose to the f2004 with slicks

Considering the legendary appalling Assetto Corsa AI, this may not be the most reliable of experiments. Enjoyable video all the same. 👍

These comparisons arent really great considering Ai in Assetto Corsa is rubbish. I find just hotlapping you can go into 1:41s or 40s on spa with the F2004 without slicks, others on youtube go faster. The 2021 car can do 1:39s and less, the ai is just extremely slow in the game

All the cars in the grid had to make the min weight of 605kg so the F2004 wasn't lighter than the competiton back then like you seemed to keep saying. It might jave been lighter without ballast giving them some balancing options over others

@Tiff Bannen I guess its subjective, as to my knowledge eau rouge truly only existed on the original layout, as eau rouge was the road that led up to the hairpin at the old hotel (l'ancienne douane). The only sign of that old road now is at the left hand turn at the bottom of radillon, so to MY mind, there is no eau rouge.. only radillon. Your mileage may vary I guess, but that's my standpoint on it.

You still should get much more experience to be competitive on the real level. Its okay but there's better channels to watch
