I’ve the 2021 standard Tuono and I just got the 2021 race map and Akrapovic carbon exhaust installed and it’s transformed the bike. The noise it makes with the baffle out is savage and the sound it makes when you change gear with the quickshifter is unbelievable. Best sounding bike I’ve ever had.

Nice. My friends got the 2021 Tuono and I have the 2021 1290r. His is stock too. He had the 2018 tuned with Akra can. There’s not a better sounding bike out there when you uncork it.

How much does it lift the power? Stock 175bhp what is it after the map and exhaust?

I own both the 2021 Tuono and RSV4. They are the same in a good way, but they are also different in a good way. That motor..... I can't get enough. The higher bars on the Tuono, smaller fairing and different power delivery create a different experience. Other than that, it's just really cool to have them both....

I have a 2020 RSV4 RR (Misano). Prior, it was a 2015 RSV4. There just isn't anything better. That motor is sublime.

@@rohansapha1608 it really depends on the person, not just the height. You need to try one in real life. I was pretty comfortable on the RSV but my i started feeling my wrists fast. The tuono felt great but a bit too straight, i would need to lower the bars for a more aggressive feel personally at 6 foot

I have 2019 Tuono and adding race map and pipe which has been mapped at factory is a must. Not just the sound or power. It actually makes everything smoother in terms of power delivery. And finally that sound makes me smile every time!

I agree completely. I also own a 2019 Tuono Factory with the race ecu and Akropovic pipe. They made a huge difference to power delivery, sound and weight. I dropped 10.25 lbs off the bike with the upgrade.

Nice one lads!! I think the Tuono was always a slightly toned down version of the savage RSV4, all generations having less HP than the 'full fairing RSV4s. Yeah looks like the peg positions is very much the same across the model range. In a nutshell, whether it's 175hp or 201hp or even 217hp of the 2021, the RSV4 motor is the best of all bikes out there. I have the 186hp 2014 RSV4 Factory, tricked up pretty much to the top and I have to say the sound and performance on track is better than anything else I've ever ridden. I would not ride any other bike. I absolutely love my Factory. To round up the Aprilia RSV4 in four words 'race bike with lights'

Still, a relevant video, rode a 2024 Factory Tuono for 175 miles, mostly SoCal canyons.…next level...amazing handling I have a 2016 RSV with many mods, the two machines deliver power differently both are very enjoyable BUT when you add active suspension control your riding experience is next level…

The videos where Papa Yam and Mama Spite get out together are my favourite. Holy shit that second pull was sweet.

And don’t think you can just let a gas station pass by to go to the next one when the fuel light turns on! On my 2018 RR I basically have like a gallon or less once that light turns on. Already ran it out of gas when I first got it (luckily I was literally able to coast it into the gas station)!

Hey papa yams, i have a question. Can you make a video about the bike kawasaki zx6rr 600cc. There are not many videos or information about the bike. And i actually own one of 2007.

2019/20 RSV4 1100 Factory with risers and a 15t Tuono front sprocket and you end up with a better bike, 217bhp, more wind protections and almost the same comfort… all for similar money.

1. Get a tuono factory 2. Put tall windscreen on it 3. Put clip-ons on it

This is exactly what I did! I have a 22' Standard Tuono V4. Flashed w/ akra exhaust, pro brake adjustable clip -ons, and a few other little mods. Changed the riding style a lot more than I thought it would but honestly, it's absolutely perfect now imo.

my 2019 rsv4 rr with race ecu bumped it from 201 to 217 and from 88 to 90, puts it at the same years rf specs, yes you can notice the race ecu, thats possible due to the 11lbs i lost change my exhaust aswell. but bolth bikes are sick,

I might have to sign up for the giveaway bike. I've been repairing my SL1000 since I got in a wreck a few years ago and I cant bring myself to get rid of it, looked at doing Tuono handle bars

Any issues with hot start problems with your Apriias? As the EVAP system would lock up the bike when it was hot, and it would not start unless you opened the cap and equalized the pressure. My RSV4 did that all the time......

@@schweizer3058 I have a soft spot for Italian bikes. Got a 2009 Aprilia rs125 as my first bike, went up to a 2016 Dorsoduro 750 and I am currently riding a 2016 tuono v4. 1100 rr. Favorite bike would have to be a 2019 Aprilia tuono factory:)

Manic laughter and gas stops, I don't think you can summarize Aprilia in any other way.

I was between an RSV4 RR and a new R1... wound up going with the R1 because the frame felt better suited to my 6'3" stature. Seeing spite on the RSV4 reaffirms that I made the right choice for me. He looks HUGE on that bike. Gonna miss having Brembos though.

Think I read somewhere that the Tuono outsells the RSV4 3to1... one of the most important selling bikes for Aprilia.

I used ,let say few bikes today 65y .. At the end i can say they are really good stuff all around .. But to bring it to the point. They is a lot brand fanatics ( bmw , vw ( ducati ) , triumph , japanes, harley d.. Even ist not really motor bike but motor sub ) and they are very few motorbikes lovers ...they generally choose a Touno !! The rest is just about identity" problem" or identification solution .

Race ECU vs Gabro Tune... Get the Gabro Tune... it's soooo much better, but you have to have to make sure it has no cat and replace the exhaust. Fueling is perfect. My bike is a 2017 Tuono.

I just bought the 2021 Tuono Factory. Absolutely love this bike. Chose it over the Ducati Street Fighter, Triumph Speed Triple RS, and the BMW S1000R . Best decision ever. So much low end grunt and holds the corners so well. The only down side is the wind pressure on any speeds above 90 are horrible. Had it up to 146mph and it was brutal lol. You don't need to add an exhaust, just unhook the cables from the exhaust flapper and the sound is much better.

Does unhooking the exhaust valve throw any lights or do anything negative on the motor? I have the big exhaust on my 20 tuono factory and would like to hear it a little better until I can get an exhaust

@@Mystic-Herbalist420 You have to also unplug the servo or it will go into limp mode. with the cables removed and the servo unplugged you still will get the little service wrench icon on the dash until you get a tune.

The Ducati handles better IMO; the power overwhelms the Tuono on normal roads. I have both.

I'd recommend being a little more knowledgeable before stating RSV4 and Tuono are the same and not just handle bars. You should of mention their are pivot adjustments at the swing arm, engine mounts, and steering neck on the RSV4, not on the Tuono. There are several differences between the motor that is not about the cc, RSV4 has secondary injectors, Tuono doesn't, the air box design is different, compression ratio is different, cams are different. Transmission ratio is different. Yes I own both an RSV4 RF and a Tuono Factory and yes the Tuono still kicks a lot of ass on the track.

I have the 2020 Tuono and the 21 RSV4 Factory. Obviously the RSV4 is a better bike all the way around. My Tuono has clip ons but before the clip ons was a much more comfortable bike on long trips. But I also caught alot of air. Both bikes also have the same MPG's too! Not that that matters though lol. In this comparison you are comparing the newest Tuono to the previous gen RSV4. All 2021 and up RSV4's come with 217 hp!

Unless two riders of completely different weight are riding hard ( track) and need to adjust the suspension drastically, often or you really are gonna put bags on it and tour- I say cheapest one you can find wins.

2021 Tuono V4 1100 - base model then. Thats what I bought.

The only reason I’d say there’s a difference between the RSV4 and Tuono is that I’d ride the Tuono and I wouldn’t the RSV4. I just can’t do the tank planking. I’m curious if the roll races comes down to the race ecu? I’ve heard there’s a delay with the throttle and that it restricts power in the first two gears. That could be why the RSV4 looks like it’s getting shot out of a cannon every time.

It comes down to Spite not being a good rider. Whichever bike Yammie is on always wins unless they are comparing bikes that aren't anywhere close. Whenever they have bikes that are closer in power whichever one Spite is on is going to lose because he's not a good rider.

I just tried the rsv, I liked everything except my narrow ass felt like I was sitting on a 4x6 or something. My tuono and the big tuono was just more fun because of the dumb seat.

You guys are a bit wrong about the frame differences. The frame of tuono and rsv4 is different... At tuono you can not adjust the motor high and swing arm angle and front wheel rake-trail. 🙂

It's amazing that we are living in the world where such great bike is not suitable for some riders because it is pumping out "only" 175 ponies.

You guys gotta stop following the "categories" of motorcycle, i.e., sport bike, naked, sport tourer, cruiser. etc., and get creative. A turbo-Hayabusa is boring. I have a long-distance touring high-powered sportbike. Started with a Tuono. Found an extra rear seat in a junkyard. Bought that seat and used it as the platform for a custom welded frame to mount two Givi side bags and a top box. (Yes, this is a one-person motorcycle now. Took the rear footpegs off.) Added an aftermarket USB port to power the GPS held in a RAM handlebar mount. Added an SW-Motech tank ring with an Ion tank bag. Taller windscreen. I now have a 175 HP torque monster tourer that, even with two full 36-liter Givi bags and a custom-designed top box that used to be a Harbor Freight copy of a pelican case, will tangle with anything in the twisties. This bike is good for long trips, all to the musical tune of that wicked V4 exhaust note. Think outside the box, guys! Nobody makes the motorcycle you want - build your own! (And start with a Tuono.) For the "yeah but Italian reliability blah blah blah..." I own three Aprilias, and the fourth (Tuareg 660) is arriving next month. 2008 with 30,000 miles, 2015 with 20,000 miles, and a 2019 with 10,000 miles, and not a single problem with any of them.
