i like it that way actually, now i don't have to pay the stupid 2x++ resell prices for the UBs i want. and now i dont feel bad to actually run in them (pureboost DPR is criminally underrated, they basically have no coverage but imo they're better than UBs for running) cause i know i could just buy them again cheaply

I just bought my first pair this month. The R1 v2. I love these things honestly. Only downside for me is the plastic piece on the middle part of my foot. I want to try the r1 and see if they fit better. I do enjoy these so far though

I bought a pair of full white NMDs a few months ago. My first boost shoe ever (previously only vans and Clark’s guy). The boost completely changed my perception on what a shoe should be to me and my fascination with them is how I stumbled across your channel. They are pretty worn in already as I’ve worn them everywhere. I now own the ultraboost 21’s and plan on getting a pair of the DNAs!

I actually just bought a pair of NMD's. First Boost experience (which led to me to pick up a pair of UB). I think the NMD's need more prime knit (more patterns like the UB). It's a great price point for casual wear if you can't get Yeezy's.

You're highlighting the problem with NMD. If you added prime knit and patterns you would literally have an ultraboost. the NMD is an UB with worse materials and stupid plugs on the midsole

Ub have a lot softer boost and more of the boost and very soft insole. Nmds feel very different - shoe is not only about looks.

NMD's were my first pair of boost sole sneakers! I think nmd's are very roomy and comfortable, but more suitable for running and training. I found them just oh so slightly too firm for standing/walking and I bought some zx 2k boosts which I favour nowadays for standing and walking at work :) NMD's are definitely a good sneaker to repurchase for the gym!

The primeblue version are a lot more comfortable. The upper material doesn’t feel as hard as the previous version. Feels really soft. Also the cushioning around the ankle is different and a lot more cushioned. This version is much better than the old version. I’ve had both!

I'm still a big fan of the NMD it's not my style anymore but I still love the silhouette! Specially the first OG ones the collabs from 2015-2017, first mesh pack, digital camo pack, etc.

What's ur style? I honestly find any other shoe pretty ugly. They are all circles and odd shaped shoes these days. Nmd is too clean. I guess the Nike metcons are cool? I just got Puma Voyage nitros to replace my NMDs but they also have a very similar look so idk if they count

The years when NMD, Ultraboost, Stan Smith and Superstar were super hyped 🔥🔥 People are really busy at Jordans right now. Now the New Balance is bouncing back. Hopefully adidas deserve love again soon. But hopefully still sits in outlet with steal price 🔥🔥 Honestly love the modern Primeblue materials now in Ultraboost and NMD

rocking my R2 PKs(Trace Cargos) today! still rock my tripleblack Japan pack, CS1s, my Energy Inks are still one of my favorite CWs of any shoe! did NMDs go somewhere?

Imagine if Jordan treated the Jordan 1 like NMD R1. Shit load of colorways and always readily available and more often than not you can grab a nice color way on sale. That would be amazing.

I'm sure Adidas don't mind about the hype, the NMD has become an iconic model for them. They will continue to be relevant for a long time

i love the nmd 1's, i've had a pair of nmd_1 pk's for 4-5 years now and it's still standing after heavy use , its super comfortable and wide in the front even though it doesnt look like it. THe prime knit is such a game changer, very light and breathable and gives you space for your toes and its a super light weight shoe, so there's nothing not to like - A great looking shoe that is really comfortable and not that expensive. I bought the new revised nmd_1's and they still look great and the sole is as comfortable as before but I don't dig the new upper in terms of comfort compared to the pk version. It's definitely not as breathable or stretchy and its very sad they didn't bring back the PK models. I think i read somewhere Nike sued them because of the PK technology or design.

The boost on the outsole is also painted now.

I have a triple white pair of NMD R2s. Boost bottomed out really quick but always look clean on feet

If they make a comeback or not it won't matter to me because I love my NMD's and never stopped getting them and love the fact I can be picky on what I get instead of just getting what is left behind after the hypebeast get buy them up.

The NMDs were my first pair of Adidas just recently and I’m frankly not a sneakerhead at all. I really like them. They definitely won me over. The only thing that bugged me was breaking them in because my heels were in PAIN.

Like 1 year ago I bought my first pair of NMD’s they were really comfortable and I loved them.

My first pair of sneakers was a pair of NMD Winter Wools and I still have them today (they're beat to shit and the boost is grimey but I keep them anyway, might try to revitalize them or black out the boost soon but cleaning the little hexagons inside is going to be a major pain). I love all the new NMDs and I always grab any pair that goes under $100 in my size. I don't really want to pay above that for them now that they're not so hype though.

I tried a pair of UB's and the sock fit choked the crap out of the instep of my foot and they were also too long. I like them but I can't wear them. I tried tts and .5 up and it was a no go for me.

I’ve notice the love for adidas been slowly coming back with everyone buying ultraboosts and NMDs not only that these new models like the HU and the new NMDs look amazing as well. BOOST is back.

Don’t like that they went away from the flat cotton lace. Round laces won’t let me lace them how I lace my OGs.

imo NMDs have always lived under the shadow of UBs for me, they do look good but not good enough and anywhere near comfy enough to get me back into wearing one. im sticking with the og UB silhouette ✌

I found a red pair used for 16 dollars. My only issue was the Lego pushing into my heel but adding an insole made the shoes much more comfortable. Glad I found them cause my last pair of red shoes needed to be replaced

That's funny you say that. I wear all my nmd with insoles because of my plantar fasciitis. Never had an issue with the blocks on the side either. I do have to size up .5 to one whole size though. I got legit insoles so they aren't thin.

Disagree with the exclusivity view. Everyone who wants a pair should be able to just walk in and get a pair. Screw the hype and fake scarcity. NMD finally being readily available with decent colourways now is perfect.

still the coolest sneakers in my opinion. I always keep a pair of ultra boost for when I want most comfort and NMDs when I want comfort, but a cooler looking shoe than the ultra's. 2 pairs of each in triple black and triple white. too clean :D

They were cool for the time, but I feel like they need more of a revamp than what you have there. The S1 is exactly what the NMD needs to really get them hyped again at least in the sneaker world, not just from the casual sneaker consumer

Hopefully the flyknit / primeknit lawsuit doesnt hinder the comeback. I think there due for it! Nmd and ultraboost are unbeatable, especially for longevity and comfort.

I have to go up half size in the new NMD because they don't use full primeknit which makes them more snug and in turn makes the EVA plugs on the back dig into the midfoot. Half size up was perfect for me

The only way I'd even consider buying an NMD is if they tweak the boost composition to make it more plush. NMD cushioning on the originals is flat and uncomfortable compared to other models.

I feel it gonna be a shoe for dads the next dad shoe facts I see older ppl buying them to kid but mostly adult parents

Why would you want sneakers to be limited? I’m glad everything goes on sale or sits from adidas it makes things easy to get. Because with Nike or Jordan when you see a sneaker coming out we all collectively say oh let’s see if we are gonna take Ls.

I just picked up a pair of these today for $80 opposed to getting yeezy's for $300 and i can honestly say that i feel like a winner.

​@Waldy Del Rosario I have now 15 pair of nmd. The size varies per colorway which sounds crazy. I wear 7.5 or 8 in women's depending on the color. It's actually annoying because when I buy online I either have to buy 2 sizes or hope the one I bought fits.

Ive been rocking DNA lately when I wear UB but I'm curious as to how that super boosted heel feels on the 21

@@gcforreal the UB21 feels like a well balanced, well thought out shoe. It’s has more than enough boost, not over doing it just for the sake of over doing it. The outsole adds a great amount of stability so you don’t feel like you’re sinking into your shoes too much when standing all day which can be bad for the knees. If your shoes are not stable enough, you have to make constant micro adjustments to maintain your posture/balance. The other thing that I don’t think gets enough recognition on the UB21 is the way it is tilted. To me, it’s perfect. Not so much where it feels like a rocker motion and is uncomfortable to stand but enough where walking forward feels so natural. It’s just a very comfortable experience that goes beyond just being “squishy”. As for colorways, I’m happiest with the all white. Most of my shoes are all white as that fits my style. Just pay attention to how it fits in with the clothes you have and wear.

Just bought my first adidas sneakers 3 days and it was the oreo nmd hu.

I have these shoes and they're super hard . I don't get the good reviews.. and I'm usually not picky with shoes ..

In my opinion what Adidas needs to do is they need to firstly make certain NMD colourways a staple; meaning these few colours will be restocked constantly such as the classic Stan Smith navy, green, etc. so the NMD will instantly become a classic that people will think of when looking for a go-to pair of sneakers. What I observed with the Stan Smiths is that once the classic colourways’ stock is depleted, Adidas would restock it quickly and then advertise it on their main page so customers visiting the Adidas website are routinely reminded of the Stan Smiths’ presence. Don’t mean to sound like a broken radio but I wholly agree with NMD collabs. Just look at how successful the NMD x Star Wars collab was. Those Shoes were sold out within weeks where I live! I feel like the NMD silhouette is very versatile and there’s just so much potential to be realised with that canvas. Imagine if Off-White and Adidas NMD decided to make a collab. Those shoes would fly off the damn shelves real quick and the attention would also turn towards the NMD again.

Never liked the NMD. Had 2 pairs and kept both maybe 2 weeks. The design is blah to me and they aren’t that comfy, not uncomfortable, just nothing special. The block on the side always bothered me, it looks unfinished or something. Anyways great vid as always
