Dane , I won every game with this deck I built and climb so fast. It has possibility to win at early. Maybe you like it and edit . You already discovered new card gives your deathrattle weapon back. The amount of times I have unironically strapped a Wargear to something lately is pretty incredible. Even at full price sometimes; I once got it off of Snake Eyes on an empty hand, turn 9 for lethal with Audio Amplifier still on board from last turn. Easily the most bailed out I've ever been by this game. 😂

I've tried a few games with this deck and each game I am stuck with a nearly empty hand b/c I have zero card draw. It lacks sustainability b/c there is no card draw.

is there a point in removing 1 carving chisel for trusty companion for extra draw or nah master @Danhearth?

Curious fact: since it's introduction, I never got a Doomsayer from Maze Guide, and I played it in a lot of decks, but the one I played it most was Rat King Hunter back when it was first introduced...

Shame you can't double up on the reward tho, I play a version with the battlecry quest and it's still nice and you can double it, but what I mean is get to another reward and use 2 of them :)

You can play the spell that plays your next one on the adjacent minions : works well with your excavate spells to get the reward or just find a lethal with a bunch of windfury minions

Of only that Windfury card wasn’t shared with Paladin… Because I feel a nerf coming to it because it’s Paladin

@@davidy22True as well. Though in my own experience playing the reward, you really wanna wait some time before actually playing him anyway. My go-to is Excavate Highlander and if you have Astalor you wanna play the 8/8 first or if you have Hollidae you wanna play that one first. It really depends on your hand, sometimes you wanna hold I feel like. Though this deck really wants to play it ASAP if the Windfury triple is dealt with to have a wave of big minions coming

It’s not that it’s necessarily bad, it’s just bad for an excavate reward cuz those are designed for you to get twice, so I think the idea was it’s meant to be Reno excavate like warrior, Except losing consistency in a highlander deck is bad. So the effect is fine for some kind of easy achieve reward, just not excavate

Like it already feels feel bad when Yogg hits that 2 mana warrior spell that changes your deck to 5+ cost cards, imagine doing that on purpose to half of your deck with the Azerite Murloc. It’ll be better if you had control on what to evolve, like if it instead filled your hand with one mana spells that evolve 3 mana or so. Actually it’ll be more flavorful if it increased the amount evolved by the times excavated.

@@burgerandy2729 Evolve has its moments and pound for pound the majority of minions get stronger with cost in stats. But you’re right in that an evolve deck builds for evolving on the battlefield with CHEAP evolves. So perhaps I was a bit too generous to my assessment of the Azerite Murloc. I still maintain it could work if it wasn’t excavate related tho
