Dog getting the chicken with no deathrattle direction whatsoever in his hand/board shows you what the real problem with beasts is, imo

To me the core issue with beasts now is that they’re almost completely immune to the counter play available to other players. Goldrin ends up buffing banana so large before combat even starts that nothing can take it down before it’s done its job of doubling the stats of every unit summoned. Compare that to mechs and all of their enablers are low hp neutral minions like baron and kangor

And lighterfighter build. If your chicken goes off first - this whole fancy beast board will be dead before the fight even starts. I’ve done this to beasts. But it’s coin flip

also the fact you cam have an invincible Titus with the double death rattle spell. you pretty much have to win either a coin flip or get a super lucky snipe

It's definitely the chicken that's the core of the problem. Dog says it's not, but he picked up the chicken when he had 0 deathrattles on the board and 0 in the hand.

@@paddocksproject Yeah having another (better in a lot of scenarios) baron that stacks with it is just not a very good idea overall imo, I think it should be one or the other

You have the bird that triggers the DR starting the battle... it's just unfair because there's no match for that. Tier 5 and tier 6 are just the same sometimes.

Titus Tribute is super OP because it allows you to run 1 more minion and it can't be sniped, is better than a triple Baron... the only downside is that you have to get one every turn... while Brann's Blessing is just during the buy phase, you can only use it during combat with Rylak and you still need another unit...

If you look at nala and imagine her to be all types, she still wouldn’t be broken, just good. That’s how bad she is 🤷‍♂️ you just need like 10 unit slots to get her going

The mark that chicken and rylak are broken for me is that there are so many builds for different trybes that even not works in theory if you don't have those beasts

Such a good build. So much fun to watch. So hard to get that someone gets it every game. Beast are gross. Honestly don’t even care if it’s the nuts. Feels stupid to play and feels worse to play against.

The largest problem with beasts imo is that you don’t have to scale them at all. Quills you have to take hits scaling with rylak. You have to continually play murlocs to scale your breams, mechs you have to figure out how to buff attach mechs. Beasts you just see the 5 units you need and grab them and boom you win. You could hard swap in 2 turns from a different comp straight into beasts

we need either hard swap or poison comps in the game, beasts are just overtuned right now. also baron spell should be gone it's way too strong

It means Land Lubber, a pirate elemental that gives more spells in the shop. It enabled some crazy cheese builds

I think Banana Slama should be either removed from the minion pool or make it only attack that is doubled/tripled just too OP when you can have 1 minion summon 2 100/100 that summon 1 100/100 as well

“It’s hard to hit”, Is the same reason that dragons and murlocs got nerfed. Enough of this beast bullshit. Demons got nerfed and in reality it was a beast buff. I don’t genuinely how you could see this as fair, or fun. I’ll admit that I prefer to see big stat minions. Token builds aren’t fun. Beast and undead are lame.

Just remove the horse from the game. It absolutely, positively, isn’t that hard. I’m basically giving up on this season because of beasts at this point. They’re just so massively unfun. Worse than anything in battlegrounds history, honestly. Even OG scam was more bearable. Bassguil scam was comparable on how shitty it was but at least you could just Blaster it away. I remember when strong rats were their shit. Good BG times. Maybe BG as a whole should tone powercreep down. Big numbers get boring after such a long while.

I've been following dog and his channels for years and I love his content. However, I find it kind of annoying just to see the same strategy/build all the time... I know he plays to reach the top but please, at least give us different gameplays to watch so we can try to enjoy the game.
