Can’t feel LATS during Pulldowns? DO THIS!

Alright quick tip, when you’re doing single arm lat pulldowns, try tilting the bench on an angle so that you have a little gap on the side to keep your elbow tucked in when pull your arm down towards your hip rather than having to slightly flare it out to avoid bumping into the bench.

When you tilt the bench on an angle, you create a space on the side for your arm to travel in, to keep the path of the cable inwards. Sometimes, having the bench straight on forces the cable to travel outwards, which will slightly flare out your elbow creating a bit less tension on your lats. I pull 100lbs unilaterally for lat pulldowns (kneeling tho). He lifts more than I could, so this definitely can't be his maximum....

Could you do another video like this but for regular lat pulldowns with a par, please. I can't seem to engage the lats.
To be honest, I had this issue for so long when I first got serious in lifting. But, my advice is to lat workouts that make it burn for you. Also, make sure you even know what your lats even are. It takes time to develop mind muscle connections at first, but with time you will get it down. Another good tip is to have someone touch your lats while you are doing the exercise. This helps you know where to squeeze

normal! just means the muscles under your skin are growing a bit faster than your skin itself can keep up with. they’ll go from red to more of a skin tone shade with time
