I live on the east coast and have caught over a meter long Kingfish in the Hawkesbury river dirty water and 12 degrees in the winter they turn up anywhere.

That’s wicked mate! Down here we don’t really have resident fish, they only rock up with the EAC. Never even heard of one outside of nov-April but I’d love to be shown otherwise!
