I'm old as dirt and use my "old lady picker-upper" to pick up the sticks in my yard. It's one of those grabber things. Saves a LOT of bending!

She can’t handle everything by herself and sure appreciated your help. She wanted to repay you with whatever she could. I’m loving your 2024 content!!!

Agreed, and if the fault was not with the blower, they need to test the outlet itself. Plug in a light, and check fuses and circuit breakers. Check any gfi buttons. I recently learned a lesson the hard way, by thinking in reverse and back-tracking. Have lamps for plants run to power trip, via heavy duty extension cords, from a GFI outlet where my freezer is plugged. When bulbs "burnt out" I waited days to replace, only to find they were not the problem. Not the strip either, but was not sure UNTIL I realized the freezer had been thawing and thought it had croaked, only to get behind it to realize the button had tripped off! SO NOW I CAN utilize the lamps as WARNINGS immediately! (Also possible that watering plants dripped where they should not and raised all cords to prevent such mishaps.) Prevention/cures/side effects.

She is Filipino and they like to do for others. They want to pay or do something in return. I worked for a lady that was Filipino and she wanted to give and give and give. They share what ever they have with others.

It is nice to see someone who really appreciates your help. What a sweet lady.

That is so nice you got the blower to work. The nice homeowner is so happy she can do something herself.

She was so appreciative of what y'all did. And showing her how to operate that blower made her day. We all should be more appreciative of things as she was. You two are absolutely awesome.

I'm married to a woman who feels and thinks like that lady. Everyone who comes onto our property to do any kind of work gets bottled water, cans of pop and treats. The garbage collectors even carry our bins up the driveway to our back door. God bless people like her.
