Same! My computer has said I'm in Paris, so I've pretty much learned hoe to tell what time it is by looking at the time in Paris. So happy to finally fix it

Thank gosh this works on Windows 11 too. I was manually setting the time but that wasn't good enough for some websites and apps I actually needed to use for some reason.

i was able to change my timezone with the first one but am a little annoyed that the timezone is still greyed out in the windows settings. I tried the local security policy one but when i restart my computer, the setting is still greyed out and the user i added to the timezone permission no longer appears in the local security policy. is this just a windows bug or is there a way to fix this?

Jesus, thank you. I've been absolutely annoyed by this dumb setting for years, why the hell would they make time settings so difficult to adjust, even when you're logged in as an admin user. It just boggles my mind how ridiculous this is.

Windows should get the minutes from connecting to the internet. This video only solves the problem with having the wrong time zone, so the time gotten from the internet is off by an hour or more.
