So glad I'm not the only person who prefers playing realistic fighting style characters

She was the most popular of the newcomers in Tekken 7, she was way ahead of its time, she now fits here perfectly, this is why she comes before Armor King or the others, because she was the new Tekken before 8!

Lidia first appeared at the end of Tekken 7, and secondly she did not participate much in the game's plot, so it is not surprising that the reaction towards her or other characters will be different. Although she already appeared in Tekken 8, we still have to wait for her debut in history. So far, not much is known about her. Leroy is a cheesier character than Lydia, yet he still got a role in the anime. Why do I think this is a cheesy character? Because he was introduced into the plot, due to the prevailing political correctness, to tickle a certain part of the community. Well, no one is complaining that he is in the game and that he got all the attention he didn't deserve. And when Lidia appeared, some players suddenly had a sore buttocks, saying that the character was too strong or boring, even though no one had had the opportunity to play her yet. To sum up, I think that some players have racist prejudices. Or they are not very intelligent people. 🤷‍♂

She’s pretty damn popular and the only character I thought appealed to me entirely. Been waiting for her to come out, I feel like peoples disappointment is probably more about her being DLC instead of base roster for 8

What's more, most players probably didn't even buy it, because after playing the title they simply didn't come back to it. If Lidia had been introduced a little earlier along with the plot, she would certainly have gained even more fans. So far I haven't found any reasonable argument for Lydia being a bad character design. So maybe forget about your prejudices and stupidity. All right? Thank you in advance. 😉

Lidia was one of my favorite DLC characters in T7 because of her grounded fighting style and beautiful animations, really looking forward to her in T8

Naaa I go in the lounge for my region and all they're talking about is Lidia since the first announcement everyone's waiting on her lol. Not even a European region or bare polish players in my region. I played her in T7 but right at the end of 7s life span so wasn't much chance I'm looking to see how cracked she's gonna be in 8 on release 😅

my problem with lidia is that she was one of the last characters to arrive and we paid for her she should have been in the main game not a paid dlc

The only DLC I bought for Tekken 7 was Kunimitsu and Lidia, so yeah, I'm exited for Lidia.

Excited for Lidia. I also definitely prefer the more grounded martial art characters over the anime Lars stuff.

Please do this for every upcoming DLC character. Fun watch.

I agree with you about the number of characters in dlc, it doesn't feel enough. 6 would've been great and they take a loong time releasing characters specially when we know it's 1 by 1... I think the new tekken characters from 7 should've been added in the base roster, like Leroy was, it's not rly a price issue for me i just want the dlc to be more interesting than this. I like Lidia she's a nice character but we all know there are other characters out there that would've been better as dlc, hopefully we'll get them next seasons.

I like her and will give her a try for sure. She should've been main roster though, just like Fahk. Characters I would be really hype about? Wang, Gigas, Ancient Ogre and Ganryu.

Armor King, Anna, Lei, Julia, Marduk and Kunimitsu will be repeated DLC too. But Michelle, Bruce, Wang, Roger will not. Mokujin/Roger are like Panda (Jokes characters). So don't waist a spot.

Not super interested in lidia but ill play the game again when she comes out. I lowkey think its taking way too long for this character to come out.

Waiting a literal weather change for these characters is just too long of a wait and the stuff they give us in between has been nothing worth using in these shops

It is fair to call s1 boring. I'm glad there is no guest for s1. S2 I'm ok with that, but i wish s1 had at least 5 characters instead of 4. Hopefully s2 does that.

I miss Lei but Lidia definitely should’ve been in the game when it first came out and Eddy. Waste of dlc slots imo

I'm witch you with the realistic style specially since I train karate (I think Lars style is cool though). But the character herself is so very bland. Honestly t8 roster after Eddy pretty much cover all characters I like. I would love to have Lei or Ganryu over Lidia but not a necessity. Wang would be cool. Tekken is in a dire necessity of a old master trope of character. Only Anna that I like Lidia way more. Anna is one of those characters that everybody talks about and no one plays. Waste of slot. But yeah, I think Lidia have a cool style, but herself is super whatever. Its really not a show stopper for sure.

Overall, they should add new characters in season 1. That's why people bought the more expensive version of the game. Edy, Lidia, Marduk and Fuhkingrun should be in the base game or as free dlc. That's why people are not particularly satisfied with what they already know. For me, none new character before Lydia didn't fit into Tekken like she did. Story and gameplay fits perfectly, only she could be a little more badass like in tekken7, here she is too "cute".

Honestly not interested in Lidia and im a legacy player so im not really interested in playing her. Gonna lab the character and thats it. I want my main AK back. I would like to see some characters that havent been around for a long time like Alex or slim bob. Just someone that deserves a glow up and a overhaul to be better. I never really played bruce but i will say this. They have tried incorporating muay thai characters and it hasnt really been a big success fahkumram was just mechanically strong. Just give people bruce so theres a muay thai character in the game. I want to see some new characters in the next seasons though maybe 1 this year if not then next year. I would like a new playstyle of a character even though its difficult to do.

6 characters in one season ? No chance we will get more then 4 in a season pass again lol imagine how much that would cost . Personally think Lidia was the best newcomer in T7 looking forward to her. How many chances can characters like Marduk, Anna & Julia get. There all second rate characters

Lidia's problem is that she is Polish. And many people clearly feel a pain in the ass here. Because as a character, he's one of the best designed I've seen lately. Her appearance, character and fighting style are not exaggerated. And the characters you mentioned in the film are less successful or too expressive. Lidia is the perfect character and the closest to Tekken than most other characters. Maybe it's a matter of prejudice and ignorance about Poland, because then I can somehow understand it. On the other hand, most games are getting stupider and stupider, so if customers buy such products, they will not be able to accept Lidia. A smart player will admire Lydia's design, a stupid one will not. Either way, many players can relate to Lydia because she is the most normal character. The same cannot be said about Nina, Lila or Azucena, for example. Even though Lidia was introduced in Tekken 7, she hasn't really established herself yet, so her appearance in Tekken 8 makes sense to me. How can you immediately remove a character from the game who didn't even have a chance to prove himself in the game's plot? I advise you to think before you criticize. If you want to replace someone, there are several such characters in Tekken 8, but certainly not Lidia. And no, I'm not praising this character because she's Polish, but because it's a successful character design. And that's it! Regards.

I like Lydia... you need contrast... too many bad guys or anime characters... you can have a character like this with some substance... much better than Josie who is pretty empty headed or Lucky Cloe who makes no sense fighting or Lore wise... I would have prefered them balance things a bit more and sprinkle in some more exciting characters like AK or Marduk... Lei not coming til next year sometime I think... But Baek and Wang are dead... lets keep them that way... We need Bob and Miguel back tho for real...

And seeing how the leftist environment wants to destroy our community, it's no wonder that Lidka is so criticized.

We literally got this boring ass character 3 years ago as the last tekken 7 dlc character, this entire years dlc season should’ve been on the main roster, tekken 7 had 36 characters and 3 guest characters within the first year of the game’s release
