@@spenceralexander2935 The game is developed by the people who make squad. Early access came out before helldivers and it’s actually really fun, but it doesn’t look the best even with max settings.

Fun games, I wish starship got more attention

Honestly in my opinion; They should delay the release in October and let the game cook some more before relasing it. 0.80 is the right direction of the game, they did good with this update.

gunplay looks very floaty

Helldiver has better graphics, sound design, gunplay, performance, style, maps, gameplay.. troopers feels like a poor mans version to be honest. And i came from squad and the starship troopers mod. Its totally outclassed

@@edking5125 I never played the mod for squad but I heard good things about it. Extinction could have a niche space for players but I think they released it too early.

Avoid early access, buy full release games. People ruin their own experiences playing early access and get bored before the game launches.

@@thathandsomedevil0828 That’s usually what I stick by after being burned by all the early access games being rushed out on steam in early 2014, but I don’t regret buy some early access games like Risk of Rain 2, Valhiem, or gunfire reborn.

competing against Helldivers 2 wouldn't really be that hard. HD2 loop of gameplay is very simple. It does have some nice levels of details which gives the game a sense of more depths than it actually has. I can't say that STE will be de-throne HD2 but HD2 is currently in the process of de-throne itself because there is not that much of different content to HD2 either.

To be honest I hope this is the next it genre of games F battle passes and battle royales lemme shoot some bugs

starship its a better game if you have a team, the calls what to do for exemple with 16 playeres its a nice experience, you really fells you are a soldier of federation, i start play in the begin earlly and the game goes better and better, but ''early acess game'' today its hard to suvive, and in 2024 we have helldiver, and you can play alone iven in a team.

@@cristianosetmus I do like the gameplay more and the voip/ base building makes it more fun. The game was supposed to leave early access after 5 phase updates but they changed it to 8.

@@ScarcheezeIn some of the questions and answers on their discord they mentioned making maps with vehicles in mind and they have mentioned mechs in the past but I haven’t seen anything about actual development so I guess we just hope for it when the full release happens.
