It sucks but Riddles definitely earned his L too. Dropped almost every Kazuya combo, and then even failed the most basic bitch Terry stuff like hit confirming jab jab before committing to power dunk on shield. Man got in his own head and never recovered...

Honestly this was one of the best top 8s - everyone thought it would be dry but the players (and unfortunately the ruleset too lol) made it quite exciting and led to a lot of game 5 close calls. Superb.

My favorite tournament of 2022 so far. Wouldn't have imagined a better Top 3 as they all really deserved their placements for their peak performances. Soon I hope to see Riddles win major as he definitely can, he just at the brim of winning one.

The thing is, once the opponent dies, the FGC characters auto-turn disappear for a moment. This is easier to notice if the opponent gets star KO. So basically Tea just shomoved with the Kazuya input dash back and forth while Ken was in the star KO animation.

I'm not a Kazuya player so I might be wrong on that. My source was me being briefly able to shimmy between stocks on elite smash with Ryu and Ken lol
