Dyche will always be a well deserved legend at Burnley. The reality was he kept things simple in premiership terms and played his football well within the capabilities of his players. This has been demonstrated by some of the very same players being part of Vincent Company’s new brand of possession based total football that is currently on show at Burnley.
I'll be honest, I'd trust Dyche over Lampard or Gerrard
We will find out very soon at Everton.
I predicted that Dyche will be at Everton by February.......I still stand by that claim

I'm an Everton fan and could see that - and wouldn't necessarily be opposed to it. I'd rather have Moyes back, but Dyche would be an okay fit, IMO.
Not sure anyone was listening properly Sean said you play to the strengths of the players he had and he would change that with different players. Sounds like Conte to me, use players in their best position and their strengths. This would suggest he could easily adapt, with his experience, to playing with a more technical team. He should get a chance.
The banter between Simon and Graeme has been superb today.
Dyche has got Everton written all over him.

As an Everton fan … I’d get behind him, and even more so since watching his TS interview him.
I like Sean Dyche. He’s got an unfair label & he probably could manage a “top club”, yeah. Good manager.
BHA's budget was bigger than Burnley's. Great banter between Simon and Graeme. My favourite two pundits.
I absolutely love this show compulsive listening
Simon Jordan remembers every meal he paid for.
Brilliant discussion
Depends how you define 'top club'. He is unlikely to get offered a glamour club. He could however get offered the sort of team with some potential and improve them enough to do more than survive.

Tottenham Hotspur would be a good match. They've won the same number of titles as Burnley. And whilst they don't have the same longevity or history as Burnley, they do have the same tradition of attractive, attacking football and youth development enabling them to sell to the 'top' and even 'top-top' clubs. The two clubs have had some marvellous matches over the years. It would be interesting to see what Sean Dyche could do with a bigger budget.
Dyche will be next Everton manger 💯
Matter of time before he is at Everton.
The real question is "can he do it on a rainy night in Stoke?"
Dyche will be Everton manager by May.

Of course managers can change the perception of their game. Remember when everyone said Eddie Howe's teams can't defend?
@frankdux5693
Жыл бұрын
Howe spent his time away from football in Italy learning the art of defending, the same in Spain with athletico and simeone, learning the dark arts. He spent time with klopp learning new stuff. He progressed himself. He's took what he already knew and added new stuff he's learned and smashing it.
Can Dyche manage a top club ? of course he can ! can he manage namby pamby players who rebell when given a rollocking and tell their agents to make mischief is the problem . If possible disruptive and disrespectful players need to be punished by having all pay , bonuses and privelages taken away .
Sourness and Gerrard have something in common. The only managerial success was at Rangers.
Brilliant ending 🤣🤣🤣
Danny ings and trippier also came from Burnley
Would be do a good job, probably. Would he last long? No. Fans would turn on him very quickly - all the fans of the top clubs want to play a certain style, Dyche certainly isn't that. And that's a shame, because Dyche is a talented manager.
this month (Feb 2023) is my 51st year as a Burnley fan and Sean Dyche is the best manager that we have had in my 51 years supporting Burnley and there are many many great things to look back on under his management...HOWEVER....It seems to me that the tactical and technical development OF Sean Dyche doesn,t appear to have happened. we started losing lots of games from losing positions and then we actually stopped scoring goals and we were certainly predictable hence we were in a losing relegation battle and if we went behind in a game that was it....game was lost. Nobody likes to see a good manager lose his job but i was in full agreement when it happened. it was the right time.

At the same time, think of it this way. Do you really think our midfield was capable of staying up. Do you really think Dale Stephens has 90 minutes of Premier league football in those legs. Do you think Jack Cork is going to create chances when he's being run around the park for 90 minutes. Yes Dyche played a 442 and yes he set his midfield up for failure, but fingers need to be pointed at Garlick. Yes you want to sell the club, but if you can't afford to keep bloody jeff hendrick or even Phil Bardsley, there's a huge issue. 180 million in the bank and you won't resign existing players, at that point what can a man do. Brownhil yes has surprised everyone, but stiill
He is managing a top PL club
Jonjo said he was going for naps in the afternoon when Eddie came in as he wasn't used to training that hard lol
Dyche's run at Burnley suggests he at least deserves a chance at a club trying to break into the top 6 like Everton, West Ham or Aston Villa.

He’s talking about poch trippier said that on undr the cosh
yeah. he should replace pep or klopp when they leave. paul dickov or graeme souness, alli dia best friend can be the assistant.
A lot of the prejudice against Sean Dyche comes has to do with the fact that he really made his name with an unglamorous club like Burnley, as if you can't possibly be any good if you played for or managed them. If he had managed a more fashionable club people would be singing his praises. It's all about media perceptions and image.
Wolves or Bournemouth surely should want him,Wolves especially would have a chance to stay up if they got dyche in
Some of the way Burnley played was good & entertaining!

I’d love to see him at Tottenham
Football is all about scoring goals, as simple and straight forward as that.
You manage to the players you have. Liverpool are the most direct team in the Premier League. They don't receive any stick, they play long passes not long balls according to the hypocritical media. Allardyce played a similar style as did Moyes at Everton. All these managers were working with very limited budgets.
Simon right again
Sean Dyce plays direct football but with the new rules playing out, that's not going to be productive. He is the modern day Pulis or Allardyce. He could do well at a team that only has aspirations to avoid relegation but that's his level. It's why jhe has been overlooked when a lot of jobs have been available.
Get him at Everton ASAP..
Lampard's replacement
Dyche would be good prison officer

DYC ❤️👌
Glasgow Rangers ? 8/1 Then return to the Premiership to a team in the bottom 5 after 1/4 way through a season.
As a Wolves fan, things got so bad for us recently I was ready to accept Dyche at Wolves (following the debacle surrounding the QPR guy)….. I wouldnt have considered Dyche previously but we were bought low by our clownish chairman who has NOT got a clue how to run a club. Thankfully we now have our man and are looking to rescue our season. I thought Southampton should have taken Dyche TBH, I think he’d do a resonable job there (Southampton could very easily be going down this year)…. He’s perceived quite negatively (a la Allardyce, etc) but I feel quite unfairly… someone will give him a good chance at some point.

The media should see his work in the 21s, his work at Watford and see if his only got one style. Plenty within the industry with huge amounts of respect for his ability, man management and adaptability
