The frustruation we have as Kenyans is that there are very many educated people but no jobs. This plus corrupt leaders and mismanagement of funds is a big problem. So the gentleman is right about the education in Kenya. As Africans we should all rise up against leaders who have made our countries poor while they line their pockets. Africans let us all Arise!✊🏿

Its very important to understand that the Kenyan youths who are in the streets protesting went through an education under late president kibakis free education initiative. The syllabus introduced compulsory English and swahili literature set books that were written by revolutionary African authors. Four years in high school studying this books opened their mind.

Kenya has so many ethnic groups as well, but the younger generation that is leading these demonstrations are very accommodating of one another and don't care much about the tribe angle. The older generations are the problem and are easier to lie to. Basically we have hope in the young generations to help Africa out of these ethnic based divisions.

It's not about well or not being well educated. Nigerian authors are the best in Africa and we have been using some of their work in our Kenyan education syllabus. When it comes to art like music and acting Nigeria tops the rest of Africa. What needs to be done is to use ART as a weapon to sensitize the masses on their rights and speak up against the corrupt regime. Nigerian authors, actors and even musicians need to UNITE regardless of their tribes and lead the charge for a new NIGERIA. By doing this, the citizens will do the same and believe you me, it won't be long before you have a NEW GOVERNMENT chosen by the people of Nigeria for the people of Nigeria for the betterment of Nigeria. Kenya is fighting to educate everyone despite religious differences, I schooled in a predominantly Muslim boarding school as a non Muslim we had different representatives who would lead us in prayers during Friday assemblies and would wait till every group is represented. Our Muslim communities go out of their way to welcome their friends during Ramadhan and we saw their generosity during protests. I also schooled in a predominantly catholic school with a few schoolmates who were Muslim and a dedicated room was setup for them to pray and conduct their madrasa studies. That is why today when we fight we fight together because regardless of the circumstance we live together.

Nigerians can never have a protest like the Kenyans. The Kenyans speak with one voice. They are not tribalistic. They have over 20 tribes but they put the interest of their country first. In Nigeria, we have the poor emilokans who supported the president buying a yacht and now supporting the use of $90 m to purchase private jets.

@ruthmuthoni7712 Please stop with the bragging. Its one thing to be EDUCATED, its another to be ENLIGHTENED. The "education" system in Kenya focuses on ensuring students to pass the exams, it's not geared towards cultivating revolutionary or innovative thinking. The youth participating in this protests are somewhat ENLIGHTENED, ad evidenced by the Pan Africanist rhetoric they are spewing. The kind of rhetoric thry are spewing isn't something taught in class. I say SOMEWHAT because in as much as they realise Ruto is problematic, an agent of the West, they dont seem to be discussing proper solutions.

Buy the time my Nigerian decide to do do something It’s way to late.. They still have not learned that your actions speak louder then words.. and Nigerian love to speak loud. Sometimes on subjects they know nothing about like this first dude. However, this time, the protests were led by the youths who are as young as 18 and 19 years old. They are also more civilized than their older counterparts so they were largely leaderless, with no political and religious affiliations and most importantly, tribeless.
