You don't want your significant other to question WHY you're hanging out with friends of the opposite sex. Like Adam said -- if he hung out with Loni and Adrienne, Tamera wouldn't question it, as those are her friends who she trusts. If Adam were to hang out with female friends that aren't also friends of Tamera, that would be a different story altogether -- Tamera doesn't know them OR their intentions toward her husband.

As I said in the earlier post, I'm going to defend Adrienne because I don't think she means to be shallow. Adrienne is a girl who was cheated on so I'm sure that made her a bit insecure. When Rob K cheated on her she probably did wonder if the other girl was more "beautiful". She moved from the East Coast out here specifically for him, only for him to dog her out. I believe in boundaries. Do I have male friends? Yes. Does my significant other have female friends? Yes. Do I go out with my male friends? Not one on one. I will go out in a group. It's not that I don't trust my guy friends or myself, I just don't want to open any doors unknowingly or knowingly that will jeopardize my relationship. We could have been friends from birth, but my most important relationship is the one with my SO. Same goes for my SO. I surround myself with like-minded people so this isn't an issues. I have female friends and had them for years. I trust women more than men. The best thing about opposite sex friendships is that you don't have to outdo each other you just enjoying time. I've never had the thought of ever taking it further at all. NOW....as someone's wife, I will say by no means am I "threatened" by another woman's friendship with my husband, but it has to be a friend previous to our relationship, to me there is NO such thing as a female friend AFTER the fact of our marriage, now that would be a problem. i feel jeannie and her husband be having those deep conversations every day

I hope my future partner has friends of the opposite sex. I feel like it's a red flag if a man doesn't think he can be platonic friends with a woman - to me it says that he doesn't believe women are fun, interesting, worth his time if he isn't going to have sex with them, and then that would make me feel like he only tolerates me being around because I'm having sex with him. I want a partner who respects me for my mind and my personality, and I don't want a creepy little misogynist. Having said all that, I expect the vast majority of our friends to essentially become mutual friends over time so we would all be hanging out together.

I don't mind if my boyfriend has female friends, I am not insecure. Stopping your man from having female friends is not going to stop him from cheating. So, its kinda stupid when women don't allow their man to have female friends, that's where the trust comes in to play. If you trust your man, you shouldn't have to worry about anything.

Jazzy Jnée even so. It’s not like you’re always going to be sexually/romantically attracted to your friends, if at all for some people. If you were a civilized human being, you would realize that having even the slightest of such feelings for your friends while you’re in a relationship of your own is not right. It needs to be sorted out, be it through communication, self-reflection, etc., because you should not harbour such feelings for someone outside of your relationship. Additionally, people can form emotional connections in an instant. And if they’re going to cheat, they’re going to cheat. Prohibiting friends of the opposite sex with not prevent that.

flick heterosexuality isn’t the only sexuality. So nobody can have best friends then.

If you trust your man, his friends won’t matter. If he wants to damage the relationship that’s his issue. Don’t bring your insecurities into the relationship. If you’re that insecure, then don’t be in a relationship 🤷🏾‍♀️

I do believe that in a relationship, men can have female friends if it's not an isolated friendship. She has to be friend with the couple not only the boyfriend or the husband.

I agree with Adrienne when she said she needs to know who the female friend is..also, this is why I need to be able to trust my husband 110% so that no matter if the girl is pretty or not he won't try to pursue her or vise versa. I dont know much about Adam but I really dont like the fact even after getting prenup he didnt spend a dime on the wedding on top of that Tamera had to buy her own ring, and that doesn't seem like a ideal man to me.
