I've noticed something about Rescue Toads: they move a lot like keys, and the animation for picking them up outside NSMB style is exactly the same as when picking up a key. So this got me thinking: can Toads be used as keys?

Why would it crash? The game treat the caged Toadette and playable Toadette as different entities.

Myth: rescue toads are in SMM2.

What exactly does the shellmet protect against, both standing and crouching? (And what logically should it, but it doesn't?) Presumably the spiny shellmet has the same results, but it might be worth checking separately.

Yeah, funnly enough, in SMM1, crounching with an shellment, makes you unalbe to get hurt an enemy, if he walks towards the player...😅

@@iamasalad9080 they act the same apart from damage but they are based on keys, even in the levels where the toads are used, you can hear the clink sound that would be made if you got a key
