Can James May fix this train?!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

First they faced off in a Lego challenge, and now they've shifted to model trains! Mike found his father's train that has been broken for over 50 years in the attic, and obviously James May was the perfect candidate to fix it! Watch as they diagnose the fault with this beautiful piece of miniature engineering!

In the midst of so much clickbait, fake news, blinkered unreasoning debate, and political BS, there still exists a place of quite, calm, relaxed, wholesomeness that makes KZread worth visiting occasionally. If you know where to look, and what you are looking for/at. All it really needs to have a more positive view on KZread content, I've finally found, is to do the filtering yourself. We all 'want content' - but don't let them tell you what that means, or that it's free, or that it's good because it's popular. I've had this on my list of possible things to watch for a while now*. And I've waited until it just felt like I was ready to watch it. And it's very, very satisfying. :)) * Edit: I must have been thinking of another JM post above; because when I got to the end of this one and found there was no part 2 I was SO sad. Until I realised that this has just been posted! Real 'live' content: not just another dead end that won't ever be followed up, hopefully. And that made me happier than anything has this month, tbh.

Everyone's going on about how great it is to listen to JM talking about drying paint and all that. (And I don't disagree.) But about halfway through it struck me just how much Mike's keenness, enthusiasm and 'wholesomeness' also makes this fascinating viewing too. A brat of a nephew would make this very awkward to watch. Mike certainly deserves more credit than he is getting here.

Richard Hammond is making a show repairing and restoring old cars. I say, why not make a show with James May repairing and restoring old toys. And that's an honest idea, cuz it's a show I would honestly love to watch.

It's nice seeing a model train getting restored on a mainstream channel. I enjoy restoring these things and you don't usually see them getting restored somewhere popular. I've been a fan of this channel, James may & model trains - I never would have guessed all three would be combine in one video :)

Please for the love of any deity of your choosing, do a 1 hour model railway challenge. The rules; 1. It must be a working model - The trains must run. 2. It must be built on a shelf 7 foot long by 8 inches wide (Purely because that's the size of my first layout. 9 quid from B&Q) 3. It must have scenery. Hills, grass, trees, etc. 4. It must be operated by conventional DC (Old school controllers) 5. Wine. 6. Brownie points for working extra features. Signals, point work, lighting, etc.
