It's historically accurate about the elite divisions around Siberia since most of the best Soviet divisions at the start of Barbarossa were in Siberia guarding the border there against a possible Japanese Invasion from Manchuria since Stalin thought Hitler wouldn't invade the USSR and most of them didn't take part until around the time of the defense of Moscow and the counterattack that followed in late 1941 and the beginning of 1942.

this is nonsence, there was no such thing as "elite divisions" in siberia, there were ordinary soldiers, maybe just more acclimatized to cold temperature, and they had standart equipment, which the soviet divisions on the western border didn't have due to an unexpected german attack on army logistics.

If you like pain, play world ablaze USSR, it is actually such a good mod with a quality focus tree for every major and new mechanics which are amazing. Super historical in almost every aspect as well. Problem is, it's hard af no matter what you play because AI gets massive buffs 😂

Germany gets unlimited production efficiency growth meaning the factories are pumping at maximum efficiency no matter what, so germany gets like 30 fully equipped tanks for barb if not more, they all have like 2k soft and 1k hard on plain tiles with planning. They also get latest equipment in their divs, and crazy aircraft production. And dont even get me started on all the benefits AI gets from attrition reduction and terrain penalty reduction. Also the ai is smart af (uses elements from expert ai) and battleplans to a river, then starts up the battleplan again

Doesn’t sound like a challenge, but a straight up death sentence. I also played that mod and wondered why my divisions were out of supply one tile away from a supply hub without overstacking, I know why now.

@@republic0_032 that's not even the main issue lmaooo, yes ai cheats hard with supply. But Germany just has more IC than you, not only does it have ~20% more factories than you by barb but it also pumps at full efficiency 100% of the time, your national spirits reduce production efficiency growth, meaning you have to be super smart and 100% perfect with your equipment (you cannot train past lvl 2 or you dont have enough). And the army spirits are way harsher than in any other mod

Operation Barbarossa (German: Unternehmen Barbarossa; Russian: Операция Барбаросса, romanized: Operatsiya Barbarossa) was the invasion of the Soviet Union by Nazi Germany and many of its Axis allies, starting on Sunday, 22 June 1941, during the Second World War. Well… the national spirits are completely bugged, their effects work but they don’t show on your nation’s main page hence why I couldn’t show them directly (had to go to the org tab). Oh and also allies started fighting each other randomly. Let’s just say it kinda works lol

Historicly soviets had enough equipment, they just couldn't bring it to the frontline because thier logistics went into caos as soon as the germans attacked.

It’s compatible with the latest patch, but it’s still a bit broken. National spirits don’t display properly, Allies AI is a bit broken etc
