People threaten Lowes employees and vice versa with Home Depot with the ole "i'm going to there then." as if that will magically cause what they want to buy to appear. Often something that only a specialty store or even online only retailers will only carry. It's bizzare to watch a customer do that; if you are going somewhere else because they don't have the product you desire its only to be expected. Me telling that plumbing guy for instance they dont have 4 1/2 PVC pipe, therefore im going to your direct competitor that we both damn well know dont have it either, doesn't magically change the reality that neither of those stores will carry it in store perhaps ever. It's just a way to be a d*ck really.

Owned my own cafe for ten years. I’d get the same question but I’d say to them “ The owner is here do you want me to go get him for you ?” After the yes answer I would duck down behind the counter and stand up introducing myself as the owner. Only then did they realize that the situation was about to turn pear shaped for them not heading in their favor. Even better fun was kicking them out of the store. Seldom was the customer right!

The phrase "the customer is always right" is a screwed up interpretation of the original saying "the customer is always the customer" meaning, treat them respectfully because you want them to continue to spend money as a customer. When they act like that jerk who wanted free sandwiches, he wasn't intending to spend any money and thus he was not a customer.

Bloody hell, now I understand why your subs have so much stuff in them. You freaking own the place. Nobody needs to have double meats with the regular subs you make. There's about 30% more compared to what I get, and that makes a lot of difference.

Call me a Karen or whatever, but if someone serves me fooked up food, I ask them if I can speak to the manager and tell them the food was dog 💩. If you don’t say anything, they will keep f******* it up and they will lose business in the long run. the cook serving bad food over and over won’t do it right without knowing they are doing it wrong. The server writing orders wrong won’t know without feedback. So, as a manager, you can either take the side of your bad employees and lose business or listen to the consumer and make a correction to keep their business and make them want to come back. That’s why they say the customer is always right. It should be, “The honest customer is always right.” There are definitely people that lie to get something free, those people are garbage people. I’ve never complained when my food is delicious 😂. I tell them they did a great job. Now do you zoomers get why people ask to speak to a manager after you messed up? 😂

Bro I worked in this industry people will do anything to abuse the system I feel you but in the end of the day you got to keep customers happy you don't need to give what they want but you can always pass the message in a polite and professional way in the end of the day if everyone complains about your business you will end up having bad reputation and no one wants that for their business. For the guy that wants lots of veggies you could put a few of each not too much or put less meat 😉, don't give anything for free not even once cauz they always will ask for it. If they say I want extra meat say it will be an extra charge and ask if he is ok with that. This business is your baby the best way to run a business is to make you, your family, employees and customers happy. Keep the good work brother

The way you make those sandwiches is quite satisfying. Too bad the Subways in my area don't make them with that much care like you do. It also didn't taste fresh at all. So might be a location thing. Now if it tasted better and with you behind the counter making them, it would be my go-to for lunch at least once a week. So I end up going to Jersey Mikes instead for my sandwich fix.

Thank God everyone isnt insane here. As a professional chef for 10 years. I thought it was just me. Because who doesn't love holding a mayo covered sandwich? I could go on but it wasn't that bad and you shouldn't give anyone handling your food a hard time. But "perfect" is denial of the actual video I just watched lol still a good vid but let's not get ahead of ourselves here lol go to culinary and have your mind opened👍
