On my journey in the north of Thailand where I hope to learn and unlearn, I play with Mo again as he starts to intervene through my invitation on some of my trouble shots. This would result in me asking him to help me in the next round

I had given up on golf after 20 years in the low 90's. Then one day I came across Golf Sidekick youtube channel. Newly inspired, I got a lesson from my local pro, have been playing more regularly and focused on having fun! I am now regularly in the mid 70's and consider myself a proud "Playa". Thanks my friend! Keep on giving to those in need and keep on learning. 👏

I'm also intrigued as to how you did it. Low 90s to mid 70s is a big difference, from maybe 16 handicap down to about 3 or 4 in a very short time. That's huge.

Well, I was always half decent off the tee box and with full wedges. My lacking was inside 100 yards and I would 3 putt almost every hole. My bunker play was atrocious too. Lesson and practice. Learning how to maximize time on the range. Letting go of the score. Playing within myself and having realistic expectations. Learning to shallow the club at the beginning of the downswing to be on plane was the first major step for me. And to be 100 transparent, I shoot 70's at my home course. When I play a new course, I might shoot closer to 80. I'm very okay with that! ...for now

Ive just come back to golf after 15 year lay off and follow your advice on every shot for last two rounds of the 5 have have played. Scores have gone - 108, 101, 104, 87, 87. If i can cut out the poor executions (not poor decisions just poorly played shots) i could get under 80 easy. Thanks for such entertaining videos that teach us to play within ourselves and not like Mo. It has changed my game and playing golf is more fun than looking for balls in bushes. Waddacoach

Thank you brother. I appreciate your wisdom on the topic of playing with lower handicappers. I've been 40 for about 24/hrs and my hcp is 1/2 that but I too follow what my more adept friends do. Not so safe ... and I knew it deep down but .... Thanks again. Maybe I will be more in tune with my own frequency during my b-day game tomorrow (postponed due to rain). I hope to *Pro* -pelle my game forward and gain *Moe* -mentum, driving my hcp down like a missile going into next season. As always; *much love and respect*

On the 18th... 38 yards over a bunker. And from the rough. That's one of the toughest shots you can have. I was watching the TaylorMade pros and they talk about leaving themselves 65-75 yards because closer than that is harder to judge. One more thing the pros have sorted out. This was my very first Golf Sidekick video, well done!

The last bit of this video was very thought provoking. I sometimes wonder if I'm on an endless treadmill of wanting to get "just a bit better." Of course, this is part of my attraction to the game...it is a hobby that I want to hone and enjoy by getting better. But "getting better" means not only improving my scoring but making sure to have fun and relishing the opportunity to spend a few hours outdoors with friends. I could not agree more with the notion of having realistic expectations. For me, the most powerful tool is to not set expectations per hole but have general goals for the whole round.

What is that move he is practicing before every shot? Looks like he's working on covering the ball or tilt or maybe extension? Mo has tree trunks for legs, I be that is a large reason he drives it so well tbh. The biggest thing I noticed is he can play driver every hole because he is so accurate with it where as you have to sometimes use 2i. That and he is always leaving himself a putt on the correct side of the hole.
