Could 100% have been a main channel video! Loved it!

If you want to get the best deals at a convention then always hit up the smaller booths first. I always avoid booths from stores or booths selling a bunch of graded games for last, or not at all. These booths have a much higher profit margin mindset than your typical small booth.

Very disappointing video honestly. I was a vendor here who had everything listed about 10 -25% under value from video games to Pokemon cards, yet you chose to show a single grail item of mine that was priced at market value. I was offering people it at a solid 15% + discount throughout the weekend on it & ended up selling for full price at the end of the show. You didn't even talk to us at our booth, just filmed the eBay comp bit & left. I've been going to this convention for a decade & have watched as prices have gotten higher & higher which is disappointing, but it is what it is. There are still so many amazing dealers with fair prices who will give you additional deals as well, & I feel like this video barely shows that.

This video is something he literally just threw up just to say he posted. The energy is off and you can tell it was rush for him to just get enough content to make a 10 minute video. But if it was some shitty expo in the Midwest it would have been over 20 minutes long.

7.25% sales tax is actually on the lower end of California sales tax. It varies by city. Where I’m at is 9.5%. Can go up to 10.50% too 😑

Great video. I won’t mention store names but I have seen some here in California sell games like Pokémon Black version 2 for about 35% over PriceCharting before taxes. I understand stores pay a premium for this stuff and have to run a business but that number seems a bit extreme. I stick to my local hunting and eBay/Mercari as a result. Occasionally I buy from stores but not often

Very interesting video I lived in GA as a kid where games were everywhere and typically cheaper. Now I live in Montana where it seems video games never had a huge foot hold and now finding anything is either 300+ dollars for a roached NES or it's the polar opposite of a pack of smokes for the whole box of whatever it is. We have like 5 good stores in the state and most are young and budding ventures but watching it seems the west coast is so much more saturated and appreciated towards the culture the values are maintained out of respect and rational it's really interesting and I as a reseller can tell NY must be rough cause I get game related order constantly from NY

I’ve been to Game Tower before and they are good guys there however a lot of the games in their store are in poor condition and the prices are ridiculous

I wouldn't be surprised if rent prices for stores alone make the prices jacked up for small businesses on the West Coast.

If I go on a store and it’s above price charting or eBay I just buy on there instead. Many stores sell online cause they can get more so in reverse as a consumer I will go online and spend less. My area has so few game stores (east coast) though. All of them thankfully seem to stay right around price charting. Prices are already so inflated as it is.

I agree this video didn't flow very well. Audio weird and uneven the broken jump cuts the ending double jump segment incomplete . I don't think this was edited by riff. To many rookie mistakes.

I live in a hcol area its rough for sure. I have family in the Midwest and it's a different ballgame. Some of them live in what would be considered mansions to Me yet make less then people with really small homes in my area

The new 3D DS you got it for $180 in my to in Iowa it goes for $300

I will say that sales tax in TN is 9.7% but of course they dont have income tax.

Nope. The expo is in Oregon so they won't charge taxes. We don't do that shit here in Oregon.

Those prices are ridic. No fees and cash transactions yet charging as much as ebay or above is stupid. Some stores would rather sit on inventory than sell out i suppose. I run almost a 7 figure store myself and for all cash transactions an instant 20% off ebay solds. Just wild seeing so much scumbag stores rippin people off. No wonder physical game stores are dying off

I've been to Double Jump in Vancouver, WA. They were pretty darn expensive, and I walked out buying nothing. They had a lot of stuff, just out of what I was willing to pay.
