Drove for 35 years then ran a little warehouse (in Fremont) for about 9 years. You are a real professional and have a "no nonsense" approach to getting the job done. I always appreciated my LTL drivers and always tried to help them. As opposed to the long haulers who expected to just sit in their cab while our crew did everything (which we didn't)! Continued success.

The reason we sit in our trucks is because we're hauling a truck load of goods from one destination to another for the most part ,and also I've tried countless time to help but usually before you can say a word you are told to go wait in your truck and they lock the door in your face also most of the warehouse can't let u inside to do anything for work safety reasons God forbid you get injured on site the consequences would be mostly on them for letting you in when you're not an employee

I'm not touching anything in that trailer unless I'm getting paid extra. When I did LTL, I did unload and load at most places because that's literally in the job description.

A coworker was leaning on a bin in the dock inside the warehouse. Forklift driver clip the BIN and knocked him on the floor. This was in Phoenix so on his way back to San Diego he had to stop at Gila Bend because his back started throbbing with pain and he wasn't right since. That's why we're not allowed and some warehouses. He was kind of one of those fuckers that want free money from the government so take that into consideration. Also Budweiser in Van Nuys got tired of paying $50,000 lawsuits from forklift accidents so they made cages for the drivers to keep away from the docks

Appreciate the hard work. I've done p&d and also delivered electrical supplies for 1.5 years. You can put the pallet jack sideways and push it between two pallets in the rear when you're lacking space. It's more for when you have pallets all the way to the door. Just a thought.

Bria you are an amazing woman. Most drivers couldn’t do the workload you had. I drive a flatbed all over Florida. You are an A-1 professional. I’ll be honest with you I haul construction materials all over Florida and Georgia mostly rebar and fasteners. Great job. I’ve done those kinda days when I would have between 10-14 stops and you have to be proficient and everything has to go just right to get things done. Now there are days when things don’t go as planned and that’s alright too. You are a hardworking person and a safe driver. God bless and be safe.

Bria, you are cool as a cucumber! That p&d stuff requires nerves of steel, 14 deliveries is insane on one driver but i guess the good thing is you didn't have the dreaded multiple pickups in the same area to mix in with deliveries. Also loading your own trailer full isn't cool given that tight door to get into but keep the faith, LTL is a mixed bag of horrible days and easy days.

@@brtecson that is not D.O.T compliant. Lets say dockworker loads a skid of dangerous when wet freight and does not placard the trailer, then a fire breaks out and the fire trucks come in and start hosing down the area. This is a potential disaster. When a city driver is on the street the placards go on and off with the movement of the freight. The terminal should be no different.

Have applied for R and l carriers and old dominion. Have a couple buddies at those companies and they say that free out here right now is slow but it's started to pick up hopefully picks up soon suck get in and Bang it out. The only problem I have would be starting late like you said 930 I mean you're getting off late I'm a early person guy. There is a saia out here but it's all the way up elk Grove that's almost an hour away from Modesto. But you're just waiting so I could get into the right freight company enjoy the videos keep on coming and be safe.
