Great video! You have a great sense of humour 😊I am looking for a Spanish speaking country where I can live and work to improve my Spanish speaking skills. I speak 5 languages but I am so rusty in Spanish . I wish there was such thing as a work abroad program for people over 40! Getting a job in any foreign country is hard but there is quite a shortage right now in many fields including my own ( health care) so I think now is a good time to try to get an employer to sponsor you through the work visa. Thanks again for this informative video 😊

You’re welcome. You would need to be fluent in Spanish to get a job in healthcare and I believe you’d need to get your qualifications recognised or acquire Spanish ones. Which passport do you have?

@@youtoospain I have a Canadian passport, I am a licensed health care professional in my country and I am fluent in Spanish although I want to speak it perfectly and improve it. If I want to practise in Spain I would need to go through the whole relisencing process in Spain, possibly sit in on a board exam and get an employer to sponsor me. Sadly salaries for my profession are lower in Spain but it would be a good experience and a way to improve my Spanish as previously mentioned.

Please help me!! I am in the UK so therefore no longer part of the EU. I have documents showing that I was born in Spain and when I was a child I went to Spanish school and I had residency and citizenship. My father still lives in Spain (he’s British) and has permanent residency as he has lived there for 10 years +. But I moved to the UK when I was five years old and never went back to live. I really want to move back to Spain. Do you know what I need to do? What visa or residency I need? I just need some direction on what to do 😞

I would say if you have citizenship documentation you should be able to get a Spanish passport, but to confirm this you should contact your nearest Spanish embassy and show them your documents.

I am looking for employment in Spain. My biggest quetion for any employer is this: What kind of problem they are facing right now and what should they do about it. Reason for that question is to see if employer is looking to fix this particular problem instead of just hiring employee that will eventually quit work due to reasons of their own.

You would need a work permit from an employer, then they would apply for your visa. It can be easier to come to Spain for a year first on the Non Lucrative Visa if you can afford to not work for a year. A part time job probably wouldn’t fit the working visa.

I am still suffering from this even though I haven't completed 28 yet and I do not have a lot of time left in my student visa. I am in tech and I speak English and Arabic fluently and in 7 months I managed to become intermediate in Spanish and I now do interviews in Spanish but seriously I do not know what more I can do ! Do you have an advice for me? I am in spain now, Thank you so so much

The only thing I can suggest is to keep on trying, even if you don’t succeed while you’re in Spain keep trying. You sound just like the sort of person who would be in demand, you’re in an industry that needs highly educated specialists, perhaps all you lack is experience so you may have to work elsewhere to begin with. You’re still young and you’ve picked up a language very quickly. You could look for an Arabic company that has Spanish and English clients.

Then you can apply and hopefully they will be willing to go through the process of sponsoring and applying for the visa. Check also whether welders are in short supply in Europe. Could you please provide guidance on finding more affordable accommodation in Spain? The least expensive studio I have found so far costs 850 euros per month in a shared space. This seems costly, especially when considering the country's minimum wage. As an international student planning to come to Spain, the accommodations I have come across are charging excessive fees for accommodation reservations needed for applying for my student visa at the Spanish Embassy. I can’t afford paying 850- 1000 euros per month for shared studio apartment in Barcelona
