Bro i find it wild how they tried to balance Doug so his revive wouldn't be insanely op by making his base kit weak as hell, but then theres brawlers like Cordelius who also has a strong super and his base kit is just as solid tbh

I just fell bad for connor that this challenge was hard then trash talking.. tbh, doug needs an hypercharge or buff where the normal attack gets more range and the super gives an shield of 2.5 secs

I gotta respect the time and effort put into your trophy grind videos Connor especially when its harder because you cant lose mastery points like you can lose trophies, get high mastery points and lose games it fine because you dont lose any, get high trophies and lose games you lose 8-12 trophies

I actually pushed him to r25 in two days just playing him for fun, played with randoms only, i felt like his best mode was gem grab

You can heal your teammates with your normal attack

Isn’t that one of the main features of this guy

the problem with doug is that his kit is good but his range and everything else is bad. His ability to revive is exactly like 8bit's old start power, but 8bit had range and damage that doug does not. The fact that he has a jackie attack holds him back MAJORLY because you HAVE to be on top of someone in order to take advantage of it. and when you use your super, everyone just runs away so you can never finish anyone off or even catch up to them. The only way they could make him better in my opinion is by making his super take less time for him to respawn, giving him way more ability to ACTUALLY get a kill, however, i also see this making him WAY to broken, because then he would just become an agro brawler that can't be stopped, The only other way to fix him might be to increase his range on his attack, or CHANGE how his attack would be because honestly, unless they raise his damage as much as they did to Bo, he will never be able to compete.

The one thing Doug is good at is big game because he can respawn with full health when he dies

Hey, just wanted to drop tips for doug. I pushed him to r30 in august on flaring phoenix with doug pam buster, and it worked pretty well (80%-90% wr). You kinda just sit back and abuse heals and wait for buster pulls (u should get like 50k-120k healing a game) hope this helps and don't give up!

@@brawler1463 the key is to play off meta comps, that's how i pushed a lot of random stuff to rank 30 really easily, with tanks its just triple tank in bounty/ko/wipeout on semi-decent maps

Doug used to be WAYYYY worse. Remember his tiny super range that had the width of RTs projectile and couldnt go through walls? Not to mention he used to only respawn with half health instead of full health 😂 They def need to give my boy a range buff. If he does less damage at further range it would be a good way for him to charge super given his poor dps unless an enemy is right on top of him

Dude I did the mastery for doug and it was horrible. I have mastered doug, dynamike, mortis and el primo and doug was easily the hardest.

doug is just hard to play but he is one of the best brawler in the game just he isnt an easy play but if you try to master a bit and start playing with it is going to be awsome i play doug too and when you find a good way to play him it is the op guy
