the fact that edgar now is an S tier brawler is insane, and the fact that edgar was a S+ tier brawler a month ago is even more insane... Edit: he got hard nerfed bc you cant charge hyper charge anymore with gadget. So he's alot less strong rn.

@@marlenamatusiak4362 wtf are u dumb or smth? Edgar is insane and 2 months ago he was insane and unstoppable, he could charge his hypercharge with 2 gadgets (hypercharge ≈ 2,5 supers). Its nerfed to ~4 gadgets now (Edgar and Fang hypercharge ≈ 4 supers). Its still overpowerd, the fact that Edgar can be 1st place in Showdown now is pretty rare, only on Edgar release that was possible.

Everyone plays him too much because hes easy to play at low trophies,but at high trophies hes still trash

To be honest, Edgar is another type of experience of brawler. It's an unconventional character that either exceeds with the best results or painfully looses the game, but in my opinion it's the assassin that helps others; i learned that to get a kill with him and survive death seconds later, you have to collaborate with your teammates and find the right moment when the enemies have low health (or that are good picks for Edgar) then if in range, jump over them and get that kill, after that it's all downhill. I use the "let's fly" gadget and "hard landing" star power because i found that he actually finds many times when the enemy is between 900/1500 health remaining, and with a single jump (and maybe some attacks), you got a sure kill, but the first gadget is a MONSTER because it gave me so many times a lot of dps potential, instead of waiting for my super to charge, i just tap a single button while i activate my super so i can recharge supers while killing people and make a chain reaction that sometimes made me POTG in even matches that looked impossible for the abilities of edgar alone. Now you're wondering, why do i know all of this? Because i wanted to experience *what true pain was by mastering Edgar* (i'm at Gold 2 and tbh i'm happy because i bounce between 690-750 trophies average, which means free mastery)

i remember when edgar was free in the shop. so long queues just to get into the game and every game was full of edgar

As a Edgar main I just don't play use toxic pin and sprays and I just don't get shouted at by my teammates also basically any base race Heist map is good (if you have teammates which I don't but somehow got good randoms so yeah) Edit: I also recommend using el primo and Sam and Edgar in guest maps (change Sam for barley for maps like pit stop and bull or darryl as a alternative)
