Love the MK7 GTI, got a GTI Clubsport Edition 40 myself and it's great fun and extremely practical too - MK7 GTIs seem to suffer with water pump/thermostat housing problems and carbon build up as well as common water leak issues through the rear vents behind the tail lights so they aren't perfect but they are great if looked after

Love seeing a deal get done 🤝🏻 deffo still money to be made on category performance cars! 🏎💥

Great video man good going, brought and sold a few categorised cars I think as long as you got good documentation for the work to go with it helps massively. What about some more background knowledge, like are they all Sorn now? do you have a certain type of thing you avoid for me its egr faults. What about cleaning them. I've polished so much money into cars with just a bucket and some newspapers, but I see you've got a great team. Where do you look for cars the most, are you like us and live on marketplace? Do you think you'll stay at consumer car level or go into the supercarmarket eventually

My golf GTi pp mk7 has the same issue with the sensors for the left and right 🤔 I’ve got 360 sensors

I had a Golf R 7.5 & the parking sensors kept going off when I wasnt trying to park & was in slow traffic or driving through a car park etc, so I used OBD eleven & saw the activation speed for the parking sensors was set to

I have a MK7 and the parking sensors are allways going off when passing parked cars at slow speed. Does that GTI have side sensors as well?

I believe these golfs have rear damper issues( knocking sound) when driving along, and have to change them to fix it.

Go for it mate , I have been selling cars on the side for years. Get yourself a good honest mechanic and a good body repair guy and you can pick cars up that need some TLC. Use euro car parts our car parts for less and eBay for parts. Happy trading

Love the idea of this series, but I think if you are trying to show a start up business, buying from subscribers doesn’t replicate that, I know it’s hard as you’re already well known and have the following (even for selling) and can’t go backwards. But maybe limit buying to you searching rather than what you get offered (which could go to BINCA or POD)

You don’t want an edition 35 do you 47k miles been to R tech for for some loving and a stage 1. It’s a jdm import. Nice rare interior.

Did really enjoy the video and the overall vibe, however I hate to break it to you Calv, this is not a Performance pack mk7 GTI :( The small brakes gives it away. It should have the bigger 340mm rotors on the front with bigger calipers with GTI writing on them and 310mm ventilated ones on the back to be a Performance Pack with the front diff. Having a Cupra 280 I know my way around VAG hot hatches. Unfortunately anyone can slap a red GTI badge on the front grill and call it a PP GTI. Keep up the good work mate!

@@CalvinsCarDiary That's plausible, on a closer inspection the rear brakes seem to be the bigger ones, almost as big as the non PP fronts haha, still good it's a PP after all. Such a pity though, the R/Cupra brakes are a massive feature on a PP as well. Cheers!
