Dont overclock the synthetic ascension situation because the unity you lose ends up making it take longer to unlock the virtual tradition tree than if you left it on the default speed.

i saw another video where the play went a psionic route and apparently made a deal with Animator of Clay to help defeat/free the Synthetic Queen and she ended up giving them her titan.

I played a game on Grand Admiral, scaling off, 25x Crisis Synthetic Queen, even went Virtual, and as meta as I could get with my not top tier skills. Though I cannot remember if tech and traditions were set to .5 or .25. Regardless, I got so very close, if it was not on ironman I would have made a save when the crisis first appeared and done things a little differently. Would have changed my fleets a tad to be all Fallen Empire ships which seem to be more effective than the regular ones. Also would have pushed harder to get the beacons and dig sites done sooner. I did not get the special bonus for the 15% damage boost on top of the 125% damage boost when I first attacked the queen. It would have been nice but I still won through Cosmogenesis three months before she wiped out all life. I had the Horizon Needle sitting in my Ringworld system for like 50 something years before I used it. Was 35-40+ repeatables deep in the techs I knew I would be using from the very start. Even saved all my minor artifacts and grabbed archeoengineers to run torp and nano missiles in a 126 Riddle Escort fleet. All while having an admiral with two traits that boosted both archeotech weapons and missile type weapons with extra fleet command size. Absolutely annihilated everything except the queen herself. Still freaking lost and it was by far the most powerful I think I have ever been in everything except alloy production. She is absolutely nuts on 25x.

Same, 25x crisis on my first time against cetana, I had a 20mil navy, crushed 10 of her 20mil fleets but took heavy damage, right as I entered her capital she destroyed all life and I lost. Tho tbh I wanted to get mommy knows best achievement and agreed to all her demands, which hastened her situation

Corvette disruptor swarms with frigates and a few battleships seems to be the most successful strategy for me. A fallen empire escort is like 5 times more expansive than a frigate while only having two torpedo slot. Cetena’s weapons also one shot any thing at x25 so I think numbers and evasion is better.

@@demonfreeman3018 I agree in theory but I had problems with survivability with the frigates. The Riddle Escorts lasted way longer in a fight for me despite only having around 240 of them to probably 500-700 frigates. Both were gunning for as much evasion as I could squeeze out of them, I do not remember how much evasion a frigate has off the top of my head but I know the Riddle Escorts have 90%. Regardless, at least I had fun technically losing.

My favorite mod is one that makes bubbles OP and when he becomes an adult his fleet power is like 30k so he can parade around my empire without having to worry about any sneaky meanies

I haven't even gotten to the end game yet :( i keep getting rekt with the tech changes

@@DavidHughey-xu2ce Yes, just make sure you have some other fleets to deal with the Queen's fleets. The Nanites Swarmers would be for the Queen herself.

Something funny that was added with the recent update is that now it is theoretically possible to get -100% empire size from pops without using sovereign guardian Gestalt Consciousness Machines = -30% from level 10 ruler Virtuality = -15% Synchronicity = -15% Domination = -10% OTA Updates = -20% Level 4 Greater Good or higher = -10% Total = -100% Meaning that you can get a (mostly) static empire size without the massive increase in empire size that sovereign guardian gives to the planets and systems This doesn't cancel the empire size from districts, but those give basically no empire size anyway

If you build Habitats with only the Fallen Empire Robotplants you can maintain the Lathe by yourself. I managed to get over 300 Popbuilding/Month, giving me 1 Pop every 2 Month just from a single Habitat.

Honestly, after playing virtual for a bit, it was hard to go back to non-virtual empires. Its only weakness is that virtual hits a cap on resource output for sure with only 4-6 planets (assuming we want at least the 25% buff), but that's what vassals or for, amirite? 😀

You know, I'm surprised that no-one has tried this with a ringworld start... ... Wait... Well, I know what MY next playthrough is gonna be!

What a cluster of ships going into the metal grinder.

My understanding is that under normal circumstances an endgame crisis can't spawn until 50 years after the endgame date, so the crisis wasn't really any later than you'd expect (though I have no problem with you spawning the crisis to hurry things along).

Which is actually the potentially biggest ascencion rush, never managed to go faster than a marketplace of ideas on ringworld so far.

Also I found ascensionist to be good if your going spiritualist. It helps get your planetary size down very far and increases all the effects even more.

I can't wait to play the new stuff with Gigastructures. Virtuality would be absurd with something like a Birch World or a Frame World.

I love virtually. It helps me play with few planets and cover very few systems. My mind dosent do good when I have to deal with alot of planets and many fleets.

Same for me man. I prefer to have things under control. I don't like wide empires I have to micro manage for hours until it works they way I want it to. Its just a waste of time. Virtual helps with that. Once you got it, no housing or job issues. You need something done? Build it and its done. I love it! The saced time then goes into fleet management ;)

Consider doing a virtual build on remnants for the ecumenopolis. I managed to get my home system, fen habbanis, rubicator world, and the clone army relic world.

you should def go with mercantile with the virtual ascension as the economic policies will allow you to build only metalurgist jobs as the clerk and overall trade value will produce all the consumer goods you'll need.

So when you flip virtual any unoccupied job is filled? Interesting..

Honestly I played against the Queen on 10x and even with 23 fleets of battleships designed after your recommendation and several additional frigate fleets I couldn’t even dent that hull before the armour started regenerating and getting in the way. Lost every time 😂

I have done Shattered Ring virtual ascension. Though I think Voidforged is also very good for it.

great now try rushing virtual with shattered ring individualistic machines its absolutely crazy you can just build trade districts and turn on marketplace of ideas

Yeah, cosmogenesis is powerful. I took on 2x Cetana with about 7 fleets. Watching you need like 100000 fleets to equal the fleet power was a stark reminder of how crap regular fleets are with the fleet size limits.

pretty sure shattered ring trade build gets more unity. you can get like 300-400 unity by year 15, possibly earlier just from traders alone.

I have played virtual a couple of times and it is pure cheat mode, you may as well use console commands to give yourself 1k pops. I finished Synthetic age and the Modularity tech tree by 2235 on the full 1x tradition and tech costs with shattered ring trade build so you were on a go slow with the much reduced tradition cost.

I feel like 6' 5" was a missed opportunity

Arc furnace random trinary is op if you get lucky also they nerfed robots into the ground

I shall have to fish out an ancient save and see if 64k alloy income can beat her, let's how she likes it when I'm making two fleets a month
