I think you were closer to your $30 budget than you thought. Most people probably would probably use silverware they already have. They may even have drink ware or the main plates or napkins. So don't worry about going over the budget. You killed it.

Thanks for sharing. I love your ideas! To save money, I would eliminate the long stem wine glasses and just get the stemless wine glasses (or vice versa). For aesthetics, I would pare down some of the leaves on the coastal floral picks just a little, place the silverware inside the napkin pocket with the floral pick, then place on top of the dish or to the side of the dish (that's just my personal preference). I would probably get a couple extra flour sack dish towels, stitch them or hot glue them together lengthwise, fold them in half or thirds lengthwise (whichever works for the table), and use that as a table runner. Maybe get some thin rick-rack ribbon that looks like twine (which a person can probably get inexpensively at Walmart, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, or Joann's), and hot glue the ribbon down the sides lengthwise of the white flour sack table runner to give it some visual interest and to match the twine ribbon on the napkins. I love your idea of using the gold medal plates as candle holders! Lovely ideas for a high end look dinner scape! Thanks again for sharing!

I'm glad I watched. Thank you for showing different versions of the same setting. You aced the challenge. If people really notice, sometimes the higher priced stores have the same things as lower priced stores but at different price points and versions. Like you said, you just have to use your imagination and creativity. Thanks again.

I live in a Florida beach town. I bought bar glasses and stemware at ABC Liquor. The exact same pieces were selling for at least three dollars more a piece at an oceanside boutique.

You look so pretty and you're matching the tablescape.

Love this, I gave a tea party at church and I want to do a garden party next year, if you do theme parties or tables, these are the ones I want, if you do the tea party, I would assume you have teacups, saucers, and top pots, but I would love some new ideas. I hope you do more tablesettings like this

I must add I love seasonal tables as well, the Christmas, Easter, Fall , Thanksgiving, crab boil (Baltimore girl, here). This would be a great collaboration with other you tubers.

I was last week years old when I learned there is "Dollar Tree +". I went to 2 different stores in one day. I was making a return and the second store was like "this is not ours". I whipped out my receipt. But the manager explained that she wasn't disputing me. It was that the nicer items had come from a "Dollar Tree+" store. #wow You find great stuff!

I absolutely love your videos with beautiful decorative ideas. When I heard you say "designer Dollar Tree" I got so excited as I would love to see you do a walk through in a video. I have never heard of one of those, but I am so intrigued. Those glasses with divots..I have a set and I love the way my thumb and middle finger fit right in them. You can really hold on to them and they're so comfortable, if you will, to hold.

I have used those long scarves as table runners many times I did model homes for 12 years as a designer and those scarfs work great for table runners. I have a drawer full of them. Love the napkins so cute, looks high end. Love what you did!!❤

You did a great job. Loved it. I wasn’t sure about the napkin rings. Would something in the color of the peaches give a little pop. Or maybe just take it off. The beach grass was enough and a wonderful choice to slide into the pocket. I love dishes and linens, so please do this again. Your home is lovely. 🌺🦋

I love the table settings. I like the different tiers. I'd love to see more. Imagine using basics every one has-matching flatware-even if it is more Ikea (like mine) or high-end, every day dinnerware with high-end dupes mixed in, even with inherited dinnerware. I'd also like to see this challenge for other rooms. I mean, this could be a whole series. Lazy DIYs are right up my alley. 😊

You did a wonderful job creating a beautiful tablescape with Dollar Tree items. My mom did something similar to decorate tables at my daughter's graduation party. She used fairy lights and Mason jars purchased at Dollar Tree and other items used to give a luxe, festive look. I don't have that skill.
