So good
YOU HIT 500K SUBS !! CONGRATS MICAH !!!
All those clubs are from the 1960's and maybe 1950's. 30 or 40 years off. Great research! I played some Sneads in the 70's
Stop focusing on the hate mail. There’s so much love out there for you. You’ve been working hard on your mental health and you’ll never get the peace you’re looking for by focusing on the negative. Love the content.. keep it coming.

Enjoy your videos and don’t typically leave comments, but if those were 100 year old clubs they would all have hickory shafts. Would love to see a video of 18 holes with a true and authentic hickory set.

Hickory shafts flex out of control! His swing wouldn't work well with the old sticks... Might even break one or two!
you need to stop saying that people hate you all the time, stop thinking about them and do your videos for the people that actually like you, you will be happier and will play better if you stop worring on not making things that will make your haters talk, haters are always gonna talk no matter what you do

Agreed
I am enjoying the content; great idea!
Under! Great vid! Check this out I googled this ( Jack Nicklaus wins long drive comp) In 1963, Nicklaus won a long drive contest at the PGA Championship with a blow that travelled some 341 yards. That must have been extremely impressive at the time. So I asked the bombers club how fast his clubhead speed was to do this and they said using the new ball and equipment would be around 131mph can you see using the old driver and old ball what it would take?
Keep up the good work my man! God Bless!
Hang in there Tig you are doing awesome. Thanks for the content.
Loving the sand wedge. Really worked for you!
Micah, you know you’ve made it when you have a bunch of jealous haters watching your videos. Been following you since you were with GG and you were just a bunch of young guys out there filming yourselves having fun.

Thanks my friend
Persimmon drivers were made from a single piece of persimmon, while laminated woods are as they are named - consisting of layers of wood laminated together then shaped to create the club head. The last significant "Tour" use of persimmon drivers was in 1997. By 1998 nearly all professionals had transitioned to metal woods.

Spalding first then Taylormade.

@@15cuhonda6 East Bros made them long before both Spalding and Taylormade. East Bros later was taken over by PGF who went on to make the clubs until the late 1990's.
I can't believe it's day 24 already. I've watched everyday and i can't believe it's been over 3 weeks. I'm super grateful because i love watching KZread golf daily. I hope this experiment in 30 days works out the way you wanted
Good video,bro. Thank you!
For anyone talking crap about Micah’s game, he would probably smoke any hater in these chats! We all have ups and downs in our golf games! Plus guys, he’s playing way harder courses than most of us play and is tipping them out!
I support people's comments about not focusing on the hate. Although I 100% support not letting it get you down, I think making it a part of every video produces a flavor that could make it harder for some people to watch. I like watching your videos because I know you a person of good character. Keep it up!
That was so good Micah! Short game is on fire right now 🔥
One of your best videos! Really enjoyed it!
Send em my way Tig!! Maybe throw in a Qi10 lol. Would be huge for the program!
That Slammin’ Sammy Snead wedge would be an awesome piece of art to hang up in my apartment!
Those traditional lofts make a huge difference! Well done Micah!
I haven't watched you in awhile. I don't know why. But this was a really fun video! Thanks!
I actually have my original set of Wilson k28 irons & woods & original Wilson logo bag (1970 vintage) in the garage. Classic no doubt. 🏌🏿♂️⛳️😎🇺🇸🐊
Love it man you have to do one with the old ball too it’s a need to see haha good stuff
Great stuff!
congrats on 500k!
Micah, you are on fire today, makes me want to make a Tig soundboard bobblehead that when you tap his head he says stuff like, "That used to be a dragon now it's a ribeye in the sky."
Would like to see your lows too of you shooting 5-10 over par. Not just watching you shoot under par every youtube video but completely choking on other channels

I want them Micah! Love all this content uve been making!
Micah u r actually funny for no reason now
I haven’t got past the 30 second mark, and I’m intrigued. As someone old enough to have played the equipment involved. It’s just a reminder how different the game was & how much more difficult it was. That being said the great players of any generation would still be great in any other generation, for the most part…..
I dont comment much but sense all the haters love to comment thought id show some love. Keep grinding dont let the keyboard warriors get to you. You deserve every bit of success you get. It shows you love what you do and youre just a good genuine person.. love and respect from boston🙏
Who cares if the driver was persimmon or laminated wood. It takes talent to play quality golf with these old clubs. Wish I had Micah's swing.

Get off his nuts lol
Thanks for the correction on the first tee, Micah. The wood is actually laminated Maple.
Sending good vibes with the like and comment keep up the good work brother. Been enjoying the content.
Nice shots bro!
Best Micah comment ever: "I am not even shooting it, this is more of a feel based thing...just lock it in try to dial my inner Scotty Scheffler in or Ben Hogan in or Sam Snead or somebody just really good at golf." Classic Tig.
Oh man. I’d love to try those clubs out on the course.
Wedge game looks really solid. I foresee a going low round coming shortly. Make sure to hit your driver, it's your best weapon.
Do a video retrofitting the persimmon with a new collar and shaft to optimize it for your swing.
Not sure why you got so many haters.... You seem to be living right. Some people just hate for no reason

+1 is still quite impressive with those clubs! Great job Tig! Lemme get them clubs though! Haha!
The troll baiting is hilarious 😂
Keep the sand Wedge in the bag, awesome!
you should collect some classic clubs its a lot of fun! I would love to add clubs you have played with to my collection.
Need to go to Prestwick in Scotland and play with hickorys if you want this old club experience
Hi Micah - love your videos....keep making them... we will travel from the Netherlands to VT coming August... if you can sent the clubs to my friends there ... we then can play some golf there.... let me know... keep it up my friend 😊
Sending you love from sweden, look at your reach 🥳
Great video!!!
guess I don't need my $2K set after all to shoot one over- gimme that old vintage set !! great video- keep up all the great work.
Love those old clubs, bagged a persimmons thirty years ago.it was the hardest club ever to hit, impressive how well you stroked it, but send me the QI 10 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Amazing job!!!!
I would love to have those clubs. Trying to decorate my office with things in life that make me happy since I work inside 95% of the time.
I believe you found a new putter. Beats Grant's armlock. 😂😂😂
My friend has a custom set from 1920. Black shafts silver heads. The most art deco cool sh#t ever. They hit great.
That was pretty cool.
Micah. “ Dude these clubs go nowhere “ 😂
Playing very old irons and woods will humble anyone quickly. You learn to respect the game and the players from that time they were new. Just think, tiger and a few on tour still use the old standard loft on their irons.
Watching you play with old clubs and doing quite well on 9 holes, it makes me wonder if the thousands of dollars spent on the newest thing out there clubs is worth the money. What would you shoot in a month if these were your regular clubs and understood there yardage.
Micah “ that hurt my hands all the way up to my elbows” 😂😂
Send em Tig, I can’t get any worse 😂
Send me them bad boys Tiggy!!!!😮😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉

Maybe a Taylormade wedge set with them 😉
Send that persimmon my way!
You got this
I have watched them all. You are amazing Tig. People who are dropping negative comments should be playing you for money. Bet they go to PGA events and scream GET IN THE HOLE. Morons.
I think you should park the cart a little closer to the ball. 😂
Put that wedge in the bag!
I'd take those clubs Tig ! I'm a Hoosier so , you'll know where they are if you ever want them back ? 🤷🏼😂
I would really love to get those clubs. But I live in EU :( I would love to pay for the shipping. And you played really well with those. Its not easy bussiness without knowledge of loft, shaft and distance control.
If it's persimmon you can tell, because it's one solid piece of wood no lines.
Daddddddddy Micah
The ultimate hustler clubs. You could run a good side business playing matches lee Trevino style with those.
I would love to have those clubs
I lost it with the Chris Paul edit😂
Tig, I think you're a really good putter.. but for 💩s and giggles you should shorten that persimmon driver and put a SuperStroke on it 😂 Hell, I live in WPB. I'll meet you at JP Golf and do it.
You need to play Garrett where you both play old club set!
Short game is definitely dialed
Send the clubs Tig ✌🏻

hey Micah, you have to remember, part of the reason the irons don't go as far is because the lofts are weaker than present day clubs.
Send them my way Pleaseseee!!!!
i come to watch micah but i mostly come for the music
Barbeque shit 😂😂😂
Those irons also are about 5-7 degrees weaker than modern-day clubs.
I mean... send me the clubs. I'm already playing some oldies, may as well add them to the collection.
That multilayered club is no persimmon driver. Proof it’s not the clubs but the man using them
@glennwiebe5128
Ай бұрын
It's plywood.
Those irons are nowhere near 100 years old they MIGHT be from the 1950's or 60's. As we all told you before in anot6her video you have a laminated maple driver, not a persimmon. You can call it what you want, but it is harder than persimmon. I am nearing 70 and started playing golf in 1965. Some of the clubs people gave me in 1965 (I was 11 years old) still had wooden shafts. And no inserts in the driver face. They were probably 15 years old. I STILL have my Persimmon driver and 3 wood (Toney Penna) and my old Wilson staff blades from 1972. They don't look very much different that those you have. I also made a video using those old clubs and the old balls from that era (much more difficult to hit straight than the modern ones you used in this video.) And they go basically 15-20% shorter than today's. Yes I shot even par with them on a 6000+ yard course. I enjoy watching your channel, but tell it like it is and don't sensationalize facts.

100 yrs old? So Ben Hogan had irons made with his name on them when he was 12 yrs old.. 😲
OMG, you should have used 100 year old clubs at the MB Qualifier! just make sure they allow edits!
