@@Cust0mCraft When you pull the levers, they stop the engines from firing, ergo the ships stop moving. The autoscroller represents the ships moving, so it also stops.

Tbh, I wanted You, Carl, Aaron, and Troy to be necessary to beat at least one level... 8:22 Carl I 17:36 Carl II 18:06 Nathaniel Bandy Feet 18:28 Aaron I 21:52 How it works is the many thrusters in the background are the "cause" for the stage to scroll since it's flying in the air. When the pulleys get pulled, they act as brakes, therefore stopping the ship from moving, the fire effect in the rockets shuts off and stopping the screen from scrolling. One thing I'd like to point out is that watering the ground eventually does stop giving you coins, on a per-level basis, so it's not infinite generation. If you've got that kind of patience.

10:45 Theres actually inaccessible coins on the top left of the spawn area here unless you use the ! badge. I think you could use the bubble powerup to jump up there, so I think technically you missed a few coins in this level.

Honestly, I’m pretty sure he also missed tons of coins in hidden blocks. Every one of the 12 characters has their own hidden blocks scattered throughout the game, and I very highly doubt he found them all. (Unless he methodically played each level at least 12 times, once with each character)

I feel like the "add ! blocks" badge should've still be used as it adds some sub areas that are only available when you have it, like in the very first level

Oh, there are other exclusive subareas? I've only played through World 3 using that badge so far, and the first level is still the only one with a badge exclusive subarea I've seen Also helps that it often leaves gaps in-between the added blocks to highlight hidden blocks tied to characters too

Do you have a specific example of something in the first level that’s only accessible with ! Blocks? I just played through it. I can certainly see some areas that would be easy to miss without that badge, but I didn’t find any I haven’t been to before without it

I’m glad that this game is open to challenges like this with the badges. It shows how much the game was built to be enjoyed. I actually just 100% the game with the Jet Run badge the ENTIRE time! 1:07 While I have not tested this out myself, apparently, there is a max to how may coins you get from the elephat powerup, likely there to stop you from farming infinite lives. I have no idea if this would actually affect the challenge or not, and I may have been given incorrect info.

Question, what would you do about all the blocks that only certain characters can see because usually about four different character blocks in each stage for one example, in one of the levels, we have to find the hidden flower tokens. There’s peach yellow toad, blue, Yoshi and nabbit blocks

This has got to be the hardest “all coins” challenge you have done so far I genuinely don’t think there was one that was tougher except for maybe Bowser’s Fury

Just a minor thing, but it seems there is actually a limit to how many coins you get from spraying water as an elephant. I guess they didn't want to make getting max lives be as easy as standing in water as an elephant, because trying to do that was how I found out about the limit.

Not sure since I didn't really count, I just noticed that it stopped giving me coins after a while. Like there's even a chance it might not have even been enough coins for a 1-up.

@@VVarewolf Yeah, it probably would be less coins than you need to get a 1-UP. Otherwise it would be really easy to just spam the coins and get infinite 1-ups like you can in 7-Tower in Super Mario Bros 3.

You should try a challenge with Nico where you have to collect all the coins, and he has to avoid them at the same time, that would be really interesting.

In the second airship, you can actually break the jet burners with the bowser laser, much like the bullet bills in the first airship, but I don’t know if they drop coins. Same with the giant lava bubbles in the third airship.

18:50 doing this section with the elephant fruit is like Fighting the King’s Gauntlet with Cuphead

Actually, while the elephant trunk can get you a lot of coins by splashing water on the ground, it isn't infinite. After a while, coins stop appearing for the level you're in, only being refreshed once you enter a new level.

I was waiting for this video haha, maybe next one would be WITHOUT touching every coin, might be really hard in Wonder.

You could probably get the coins in Cosmic Hoppos by using crazy bubble parkour all the way up the screen, because you don't actually need to jump off of the hoppo to trigger the floating wonder effect section.

5:12 You can get these 2 coins with the elephant without the wonder seed by jumping at the wall and swinging your trunk

you could still do Cosmic Hoppos while getting all the coins - Just, instead of using the hoppo to get up, climb up using the bubble flower and the boosting spinjump badge and get all the coins in the air that way. If you reach the top of the area like this, you can still trigger the anti-gravity event to continue the level. That'd let you pick up all the coins on the way up at any pace, with no danger needing you to restart either.

The music at the end of the video is nostalgic to me, reminds me of when I used to watch the New super mario bros DS challenge videos all those years ago, all the memories 😇

Mario Wonder is such a good game, it's brimming full of charm, I just wish they'd put a little more thought into things like bosses. And that Yoshi was a regularly playable character or a full on mount

with the bird part if you use the parachute cap and climb back up the wall the birds you haven't killed will respawn along with the coins. it might take little bit but it works

There's a way you can get all the coins in Cosmic Hoppos, all you need to do is grab a bubble power up, activate the wonder seed, and you can do infinite jumps with the bubble power up to get all the coins. 25:46

I think you may have messed up in the second level - there are coins on the top of the level in front of the secret exit pipe that you neither mentioned getting nor showed getting in this video. They are definitely possible, but they are very easy to miss if you don't know they are there and probably should have been mentioned.

You don't get infinite coins from watering the grass. After 50 coins it stops giving you more

I think a cool challenge would be a every level with rhythm jump badge, (that you can do with rhythm jump) and you can’t mess the rhythm jump up, if you do you have to restart the level. Just an idea.

Flowers actually do have a limited amount of coins they give you, but its for the entire stage, not just for each flower. Its somewhere from 15-20
