Diamond is probably the nicest character in the Adventures series, I still can’t believe his Munchlax didn’t evolve due to his near-lifelong friendship with the little guy 😢❤

I think it was an Ash's Pikachu situation, and just preferred being that way. (And the previous two arcs had featured Snorlax used by the leads)

Both Red and Emerald have Snorlax, so Lax not evolving was likely done for the sake of variety (that and Pearl’s Chatot, his counterpart, can’t evolve anyway.)

I love how Lax was the key to defeating Cynthia despite you being tempted to let him go on multiple occasions. Reminds me of Mr. Stake the Meganium. 😆

I love the contrasts between the pokedex holder teams in the manga, the more offensive pearl and the more balanced platinum but with a little more focus on speed besides the fact that they basically share their pokemons one of the best trios in the manga and the diamond team isn't bad at all

This world needs more Pokemon creators who give spotlight to the manga. How I'm just now discovering this series of videos and your channel is beyond me, as Pokespe has been a constant in my life for over a decade now. The wprld of the manga and the dexholders means so much to me that when I was younger I used to play through the games casually with their respective teams, but I never thought to do a challenge like this with them! Love to see another manga fan, as I truly do believe it to be Pokemon in it's best form. Cheers!

Oh I just finished that arc on the manga yesterday! Even the HGSS chapters. So far it has been my favorite arc, Dia is a great character, so likable.

I know it's totally subjective but I have no clue how kid you didn't like Sinnoh -- While it wasn't my favourite, I have so many memories as a kid from the Sinnoh era, it has a special place in my heart.

My parents would only buy me the game after the prices dropped, so when Platinum was out, they got me FireRed. HGSS when BW came out, and BW when XY came out. Totally skipped over Sinnoh😭

I just realized that you could’ve made it deathless by switching in Tru on Earthquake to bait Flamethrower after, then call in Kit to hopefully take both Flamethrower and Dragon Rush for the Ice Beam OHKO and then the rest of the battle plays out exactly as before.

In a realistic setting if diamond pulled up with 5 out of 6 Pokémon. Being weak to fighting I would be sick

I gotta say, when I was a kid, I always liked characters when they were similar to me, and since Dia loved to relax, eat, and crack jokes, he became one of my favourite Pokémon Adventures characters. 😌 P.S. There is another Sinnoh-era Pokémon manga called Diamon and Pearl Adventure. Have you read it? It would be awesome to see a run with Hareta, Mitsumi, or Jun’s teams
