My all time favorite shiny is gastly. When I was a kid, I got one in fire red and didn’t look up gengar and I evolved it up and was so disappointed!! Hahaha went back and farmed it till I got another shiny gastly and got him to 100 by training the old school way! 👌

The reason why Numel and Torkoal survived the water guns was because Slugma used sunny day the turn that your mud shot missed. Sunny day makes it so water type attacks dont do as much damage while also increasing fire type attacks

I dont know what evs you had, but uninvested kingdra does 49-58 on a flygon with 50 spdef and 50 hp

This video was so cool because when I was a kid, I played emerald and picked mudkip as my starter, and I found a shiny poochyenna without even knowing what a shiny was, and I recently caught a shiny makuhita in Pokémon go, so it all feels so familiar

Tbh I feel like calling bs, the shinies you have all accomadate in shiny color , you have 3 Pokémon in shades of greyish purple too brown hues, then you makhitu has purple just like swampert , both makhitu and poochena are a yellow ish gold in color but let’s not forget the last two Pokémon in ur party both have yellow ish hues as well both being a fire type and electric type, wouldn’t surprise me if you used an action replay too pull shinies in the wild.

Great video! I accidentally caught my first shiny last week playing through Y (shiny gible) and 15 minutes later I ran into a shiny graveller first encounter! Unfortunately shiny graveller literally looks like a ball of poop so I have no intention of using him, but I love the subtle color change in the Garchomp line!

The odds are not 1/8192, they changed the odds starting in gen 6, making it 1/4096

The name theme is naming the pokemon from a Pokemon city/town from Kanto like lavender town or vermilion city

That's correct Rodzelyn! I also tried to match the colour of the city with the colour of the Shiny Pokemon! So for example Pewter is a gray colour, so I named Manectric, who's shiny is grey, Pewter😁

Just collecting the shinies alone would be a daunting task let alone never using potions. Good lord, you're an epic pro player, lol.

You named them after the Kanto cities..if I have the right region. Also matched the colours to them..I just cant remember the term for doing so..I do think it has a term anyways.. 🤔

I started an Omega Ruby shiny badge quest years ago & still haven't finished it so it's awesome that you were able to complete a shiny hardcore nuzlocke & you full odds hunted yours, nice! I'm going loose & casual with my shiny badge quest because I just like shiny hunting, using my shinies, & having to battle with what I get. I'm allowing methods & have spent a while doing dexnav for Deino, I have 8 badges but I need 1 more shiny before defeating the Elite 4. I did horde hunting for a large portion of my shinies plus having more Pokemon available to me now, I wanted to utilize that but Deino is being a pain. I did end up having to run with a Minun & a Linoone on my team, I just want something cool.

Pretty cool video. That Drake fight was super intense.

I never shiny hunted a starter that way. I've always bred for my shines after the post game and after I get a shiny charm.

Serious question, does a higher dexnav level mean it is higher odds for a shiny of that pokemon?

Great video! I'm too weak to attempt even a normal nuzlocke with shiny pokemon, so kudos to you. I just wanted to say full odds in Gen 6 and onwards is 1/4096 :) (ORAS aren't gen 3 games- remakes are a part of the gen they're released in, so BDSP will be a gen 8 game)

So your video posted right around the time that I found my first ever shiny! Ever! In any game (excluding red gyarados in silver)! Bibarel will forever hold a special spot in my heart now! I thought shiny odds were reduced after gen 5 to like 1 in 4k, is A.S. back to 1 in 8.1k like early gens?

Your video have inspired me to start a shiny locked challenge of my own. It is about a week since I started and I have been trying my best to do a hundred resets a day. Im currently at 800 reset still finding that shiny torchic. Any advice you could give on a beginner like me about soft resetting that shiny starter? I would be very thankful.

I'm a bit confused about the natures of your Mons, for example with Makuhita you say its nature is calm, but the stats shown are of a neutral nature, no red and blue stat. Did you just show the wrong pics on the stat sscreens?

Your names are town names from Leafgreen and firered well played that was nice to see love for the older games.

8 hrs on the starter im doingmy first commetted hunt for starter and im three years in on rowlet and 600 plus hours and nothing congrats dude. when i was a kid i used to try hunting for them and i remember lasting maybe a month or two and then giving up but with this one im older and way to far in to give up but congrats on the mudkip 8hrs is insanely lucky

.... Team was over leveled for Watson and may fight before that. Just saying

So I may or may not have a critique. I love your vids and am subbed, but the way you do the commentary I guess is my problem? Not your voice, but the tone in which you do jokes and after losing a mon sounds the same. I guess just slightly changing your tone, since despite a nice voice the same blank tone gets annoying. Sorry if you are annoyed by this, if you even see it. I do appreciate the effort you put into this and all of your vids. You are a dedicated and good player, I just want to help. Unfortunately, I don't believe you're actually going through the shiny grind. It feels very suspicious that you're never showing us the in game time in the end. You could very well be turn shinies on of camera and then turning it off like nothing happened. I could very well be wrong, and I hope I am! Could you please show us the in game time at the end of the video, or maybe do a livestream, when you do this next time?

i just wanna say if you go to an area and say "ok im gonna hunt until i hit something" and SAVE BEFORE YOU START, you literally lose nothing by just turning the game off. hunt for 3 hrs, turn game off, no IGT of the hunt happening

I already did this in my alpha sapphire play through. All of my party pokemon as well as my stepping stone party before them were all shining

I like the names being all the old gyms like cerulean gym and that very unique

He’s using shiny pokemon only and it’s a nuzlocke, this man I mean legend got some real balls🍆🫡
