This wasn't a dig I found it funny personally. Guess it bothered some people but, everyone has a preference and one comment here is right it was a big run! It was great but had a lot of risk. So having high fov is good for making sure nothing hits him off screen

It's not that the game has unskippable cutscenes. The Mein Leben difficulty makes all cutscenes unskippable to make the experience of dying and having to start over more infuriating.

I feel like steams refund policy is the best refund policy ever. For PlayStation for example. You need to have owned the game for less than 14 days and the game must’ve never been downloaded. Not played. Downloaded.

still not beating GoG's refund policy, you got 30 days to request a refund no matter how many hours you played. technically, since games on GoG are drm-free, you could even buy a game, download it and refund it and still be able to play it, though you can get banned if you abuse this system.

That sucks. From my experience Xbox tends to be decently lenient as long as you haven't played for more than like 30 minutes. Wish we had steams refund policy but steam could potentially be coming to Xbox at some point in the future so that would really be nice.

Sony is peak anti consumer. PS has the absolute worst cancel preorder / refund policy ever. They will literally cut your call or chat if you refund too much even if it's within their rules and law. Literally dropped my PS5 and went to steam because of this. Never looked back and never felt better.

its a reference to old oldschool wolfenstein where enemies yell "Mein Leben" about the furher bad mustache man when you send them where they belong... its a classic easteregg, with doom even having secret levels called mein leben

GGs mate! I'm currently the holder of the world record for this category. Just a clarification on the ending: Despite the rules saying that the time starts after the first cutscene, that is actually only for other difficulties and in this category the time starts from the beginning of the cutscene so your time would still be a bit behind, but not by much! So keep trying, it's nice to see some competition on here. The run I won the wr was my first completion of mein leben and the stress this gives to your head is insane. If you surpass it it would be nice to go for it again although I'm not sure I can take it currently with my strategies lol. Good luck with the wr! Keep going for it!

I love the steams refund policy. I've only used it once, but knowing the policy I got to buy the Helldivers or whatnot, see that it wasn't for me and get something better (Cyberpunk 2077).

You can change the emails of those Steam accounts and give away the accounts without worry. Much better publicity and more useful than just having them sit there doing nothing.

Great question! I watched two different runs of this and took them both as a general guide. Used a fair amount of strats and also either made some strats better, made them faster or just came up with a different one altogether Like I'm Venus doing the jump in the big room was something I hadn't seen elsewhere. I'm sure there's some other ones as well but the bottom line is it was a mix of watching runs and trial and error!
