Can I beat Elden Ring without Attacking?

A very strange way to beat the game, this unfortunately does not work in patch 1.09

Imagine being a demigod, and you end up dying just because this burning weirdo keeps walking next to you without even attacking.
The thesis statement for this run: The World shall learn of our peaceful ways...by force!
Most of the time the various mist incants were used, the boss just kinda walked into the effect, so I can see the argument that it doesn’t count as ATTACKING the boss. But there were definitely a few times u directly blew Covid-spray at them 😂 so calling it a “no attacking-run” seems debatable. Regardless, still a very impressive and hilarious playthrough lol
the ign playthrough??
I love how you opened a torturous run with Ludwig's theme from bloodborn. That fits the near unending suffering expected with the title. Ps. Tthanks for this video.
I miss Moongrum.
I know this would've probably been irrelevant once you started relying more on the black flame blade buff, but shouldn't you be able to use two weapon buffs at once? Or does the bug stop working if you unequip your seal? Say you use bloodflame on your right weapon, then swap your seal for a cold weapon, two-hand it and use the AoW and un-two-hand, in theory you should have both the bloodflame (right) and frostbite (left) buffs on at the same time.

The buffs don't keep once you put a weapon away to two hand another weapon, so it wasn't possible, I could have used cheat engine to change this but chose not to

@@snuppet That doesn't seem right, during my time in (xbox) pvp I've seen a lot of people buff both their powerstanced weapons, though maybe it was a different method. Say two-handing the left weapon to use its AoW, un-two-handing and then using L2 to use the right one's AoW without two-handing, maintaining both buffs. Not sure if you could use a seal on the right hand to buff your left weapon the same way, I'd assume not.

@@AgentChick using the ash of war on both hands work, but it'll only be poison and frost, bleed and black flame are incantations so you need the seal to cast them

@@snuppet Fair enough, I just tested in-game and yeah, you can't buff weapons on the left hand with a right-hand seal, which is honestly super lame. Though then again, with how short black flame duration was, this wouldn't have done much in the end game anyway (since by the time a buffing AoW finished, the black flame would've ran out already, lol) so it's not that big of a deal.

@@AgentChick I wouldn't be surprised if in 1.09, not current 1.09.1 if it was possible since there was some wacky shit with incantations and skills and I believe putting something away didn't get rid of an effect, which is why the jellyfish shield still worked when unequipped, but wouldn't matter anyways since fires deadly sin doesn't do the funny anymore
WOOOOO
if you show elden beast in the intro you kinda spoil the video, cause i know for a fact that anyone who came that far wont stop there great video anyway!
