​@Press Continue they won't aggro on eachother but they will both swing through the door if you stand near it, and they can absolutely deal a lot of damage to eachother. I did basically this same run a couple months ago and that's the only way I got through Gurrancs quest.

Cemetery Shades are how the game prepares you for PvP. >Always backed up by gank squads >Dual wield bleed weapons >BHS spam >Absolutely no Vigor. Just like the majority of hosts you'll run into as an invader.

Godrick’s first phase is “harder” than his second phase. The extremely punishable fire breath is what kinda makes him a joke. It can be pretty intimidating just looking at it tho, not realizing that you can just walk behind him

Bloodhound's fang + morgott's curved sword dual wield would probably be a fun approach for the dlc

It may seem random that one of the enemies Gurranq makes you kill is the Red Wolf, but a wolf is kind of like a dog, and so is Gurranq. This is an intentional decision by From Software, subtly hinting to the player that this is a dog-eat-dog world.

I’m pretty sure most people consider Godrick to be easier than Margit. A good lore explanation that I have as a headcanon is because Morgott doesn’t want Godrick to get any stronger by grafting anyone else, so he has a projection of himself there to ward off any tarnished. It could be the complete opposite as well- Morgott knows that Godrick is the weakest shardbearer, and so he wants to make sure his Great Rune doesn’t fall into the hands of someone stronger.

So morgott might be protecting him out of pity, like how you'd watch over your terminally ill cousin who is getting buillied by his schoolmates.

I did a bestial sling only run (not RL1), and I gotta say, it was so fun, I'm probably gonna do it in the DLC, too. For anyone else interested in such a thing, here's some tips: First, blue dancer charm is practically mandatory. If your total weight is less than 16, it boosts your damage by a significant amount. I'm not sure of the exact numbers, but it's somewhere like 1.5x at 15 weight, and 2x at 8 weight, with scaling between those. Weighing less than 8 doesn't scale further. In my playthrough, I two handed the clawmark seal in my main hand, and had the cinquedea in my offhand (the bestial scaling buff from the cinquedea still applies when you do this). I need to do some testing with the dragon communion seal, though, to see if its lower weight is worth more than the cinquedea boosting bestial incantations. Second, bestial sling is an instant cast after performing an action, like catch flame is. This means its most useful feature is tossing a stone after dodging, very safe damage. Treat it like a melee weapon, but the range it does have means you won't whiff any swings. This is especially useful for being summoned to help people fight Mohg and Morgott. You can punish their aggressive attacks very consistently and rapidly, leading to fast staggers. You could spend some of your weight budget on an upgraded critical weapon, if you wanted to take advantage of those staggers. But I just use them to refresh buffs and drink FP restore, then toss rocks in their face until they get back up. Finally, bestial sling is really the only damaging bestial incantation you need for this kind of build. Beast Claw and Rock Toss do more damage than Bestial Sling, sure. But they aren't instant actions, meaning they take too long to get out when you're right up in the Boss's face. You just do higher DPS sticking to just bestial sling. I do want to do some additional testing with dragon claw/maw and the aspects of the crucible: horn/tail incantations, though. They're physical too, so they might also benefit from this build, especially the dragon communion seal variant.

Short Bow and Dual-Wield Daggers are what I used from day 1 on my first character. With the Short Bow on Torrent & Assassin's Gambit on one of the daggers you can breeze through nearly any zone. Throw in a little faith for Heals, Buffs & Ailment cleansing and you're Golden!

@@isprobablyjobhunting it took me a minute when doing my magic playthrough to realize that you could cast spells on Torrent, since all of my other runs have been melee. I didn't know how I was gonna fight Radahn since the only strategy I know against him is melee, but then I remembered "wait a minute, I'm a mage, I can just run away from him" and it was probably the easiest Radahn fight I've ever had (excluding summons)

Honestly I did a dagger run and it was the most fun run I've done. I actually felt like my speed and damage were equal and the versatility that daggers can have with the variety of AoW we can use, it's an amazing and completely overlooked weapon type and playstyle

The way the Godskin Noble breaks the pillar and the fragments just go into your eyes forever while you get blindsided is unintentionally hilarious

47:35 About Maliketh's Destined Death, I recently learned how to deal with it for a no hit fight which is uploaded for proof. If you're light rolling, you can just keep rolling to his right and behind him, the sword thrust has no splash hitbox, so you don't need to time it. Once you get behind him you can punish.

It's always interesting to see the Godskin Duo being such a roadblock in challenge runs. In my casual playthrough it was one of the easiest fights in the game because I had both my mimic and Bernahl to act as distractions. Can't wait for the DLC. I'll definitely continue using my +25 Greatsword on it.

My weapon choice for dlc will be Darkmoon. I made an actual level 150 build for pvp and dlc playthroughs. No comet or anything but I will definitely use magic. It will be really fun playing it in ng+. Can’t wait for it to release 😊

since ya asked, whenever i get elden ring on a system i can play it, along with the DLC, it's no question. full on crossbow run.

For the DLC I'll probably run the Godslayer's Greatsword. Kinda boring, but it just feels the best to me. Fastest Ultra-Greatsword in the game and has a pretty good weaopon-art. Also playing on faith on the side, so that just works like a charm.

Also to explain the PVP part because back in Dark Souls 3 PVP years including myself would always run tears of denial. So we would use a quick-moving little damage pack like a dagger or a quick-moving spell like Farron dart to make sure they're dead. Rock sling functions almost identically but the upside being at the shotgun and it does more damage so you could chip dmg people technically safer because you could do it at higher HP values

There is also a Polish version of Brother Jacob, it goes: "Panie Janie! Panie Janie! Rano wstań! Rano wstań! Wszystkie dzwony biją, x2 Bim, bam, bom, bim, bam, bom."

My wrapon for the runthrough will be whatever new category they add that i find first. Great katana, great flail, hopefully some cool dual weapons like crow quills and the breakdance sword from ds3. I miss those unique weapons.

I'm probably going to use a combination of the blasphemous blade and the envoy's long horn in the dlc, and some faith spells. The astel move was so shady hitbox-wise that it looked like ds2

Cross Naginata has been my favorite weapon as odd as it might seem. I like the move set and style, not to mention my favorite ash of war being spectral Lance. I love throwing spears

I would love to see more of this Elden Ring cosplay challenge runs, not necesarly level 1

When you're trying to eak out your entire equipment load, a beast mark is much more versatile than a low dex required ranged weapon. I've found beastial sling to be useful when playing as a heavily armoured shield, strength build. Very limited inventory space when using the heaviest of equipment possible. Beastial Sling is a quick cast, low fp, reusable, ranged weapon against flying enemies. Bats, and any other rapidly moving creatures will be stunned, letting you close the range for the kill. Very contextual. But the beast mark has other slots, and a bow weighs more and does less. It was fun playing the character with such high strength. The beast mark scaling was literally him casting the spell, pick up rock and fucking throw it at you, and I really appreciate that.

i'm gonna enter the dlc with the 3 weapons that have accompanied me through the whole series: a straight/curved sword (scimitar in this case), the claymore and the partizan. An extremely reliable and versatile set (Plus all the other weapons i have on my ng+ character, cause i like to vary). And finally my trusty fire incantations.

I use Wondershare Filmora. But I've only started using that From the Scarlet Aeonia video onwards. Before that... believe it or not... I used windows moviemaker 2012... yeah...

My weapon of choice will definitely be the Godskin Peeler/ Eleonora’s Poleblade. Love Twinblades and those two have some the coolest designs I’ve seen in Elden Ring.

In other, more ridiculous words, you believe hard enough and it happens.

Personally I *really* dislike the Maliketh fight. For some reason his AI just goes nuts whenever I'm fighting him. I''ve never had a fun fight with him, it always devolves into a frustrating mess just trying to land 1 hit every minute or 2. And to answer your question I'll be doing the DLC with the Bloodhounds Fang. It carried me through my first ever souls game

On my first playthough, I did a strength faith build, and I was considering on respecing into either pure faith or strength because I couldn't find a strength faith weapon that I liked. Until I beat maliketh and I got his sword, and everything clicked, and my build became really enjoyable and good, and it's the one I'll be doing the dlc with for sure

Keen Guardian Sword Spear will be my first dlc run weapon. Best weapon for me haha

I certainly wasn't expecting to listen Nightwish in an Elden ring video, but it was an amazing surprise :D

My weapon of choice will be a blood pike in my left hand and beast incantations in the right. The pike always catches goobers at range and the best incantations are fast enough to catch them up close.

Figured I'd answer the dlc question as I listen to this. I figured when the dlc comes out I'm gonna use the Nobles Estoc with a frost infused Carian Grandeur. Anyway..time to watch the rest of the video lol

i think the max hp drain works but only on the hoarah loux phase of the fight not the godfrey phase. so im guessing it was intentional for one reason or another.

started up a dex int spellblade that I will be using for the dlc when it drops. Currently using the moonveil katana.

my first run through any souls content is a sorceries build, so i'll do that for the DLC. needless to say when i played ER blind i was quite pleased with how my default build fared

I choose to believe the +0 dagger was no mistake but Press showing who’s the top dog by limiting not only his level but also his weapon

I did a blackflame only run a few months ago and i think it was the most fun i have had with the many hours of this game i have played it just felt super cool and i intend to go through the dlc first with it Also in the middle of a faith intelligence run and im having a lot of fun with it as well so im not entirely sure yet

Okay really neat thing here that black knife assassin is damaged because of the talisman it drops don't know if anyone else has noticed this but bosses that give you talismans have the effect of the talisman if that black knife hit it's grab it would gain health also the cleanrot knight that gives you winged sword insignia has its effects as well gets stronger with consecutive attacks

For the DLC? Either my twinblade character or my pseudo-Pyromancer. I love my Godskin Peeler dex build, but I've rediscovered my DS3-era love of throwing fire at the problem. Especially with Elden Ring's variety of fires to choose from... no joke, the black flame incantations were a lifesaver for my first fight against the final boss.

I absolutely love that the running joke of the Elden Ring band stuck around

My weapon for DLC is for sure the Godslayer Greatsword. And the blackflame incants but I hardly ever use those when I have such a cool sword

Marais executioner sword is by far my favorite weapon in the game, and I’ll probably go into the DLC with it
