How about Mew in Black/White 2? Black and White 2 are some of the harder games to nuzlocke and I'm curious to see the strategies due to the fact that Mew learns every TM

Even though this isn’t with ONE legendary, you could do US/UM with only the island guardians (Tapu Koko, Lele, Bulu and Fini) and adding the respective one to your team as you arrive at it’s island, ending up with all 4 Tapus when you arrive at Poni Island. Just a thought! The Tapus need some love!!! (P.S. Love your videos, they’re super relaxing and help me wind down after my shift at work! ❤️)

Actually a fan of this suggestion, I feel like Ultra Necrozma kind of just murders anything in terms of a solo run without overleveling and this could be a potential way of doing a nuzlocke of the game with legends and it make sense.

@@ChaoticMeatballTV another cool suggestion is this challenge where each island you get the respective guardian and when you go to the next one it’s replaced by that islands guardian. If the necrozma or champion battle is unreasonable with only one of them you could use all 4

2:06 I think this is the first time I've every heard someone say "parafusion would definitely make it more consistent" ever in my life.

1:12 That's not actually how it works. It's even worse! Slow Start halves the actual stats (after EVs, IVs, etc. are applied), not the base stats; in other words, it affects the ranges seen on the right. Assuming maximum IVs with no other investment, Slow Start effectively makes Regigigas have base 71 Attack and base 41 Speed; at maximum possible investment, it's equivalent to base 55 Attack and base 25 Speed.

Ingenious use of Exp Share. At first I didn't catch why you were using it.

As much as Shell Bell saved you here, I think Leftovers still would have resulted in more recovery during the E4 and Cynthia, and it's available during Victory Road. A lot of those fights probably wouldn't have been quite as close if you had the more consistent damage, especially against the first pokemon while you're stalling out Slow Start.

Your confusion luck this run was next-level. But hey, this run would've probably been near impossible without a certain amount of luck, so we take those.

31:51 You'd think that Gyarados would go down to a Tbolt, but besides Regigigas having an acceptable, really just okay at best Spec atk stat, Gyarados has a rather large Spec Def stat. For real, after the gen 2 special split, they decided to make Gyarados have a very appreciable base 100 spec def. It's not a monster tank or anything, but that helps it stay in the fight for a long, long time against special attackers.

mewtwo in pokemon x/y would be interesting since it was meta with megas see how the base fairs agenst the game

that fight against lucian really highlighted for me the fact that regigigas' ability basically just encourages you to "set up" wherever you can, where instead of dragon dancing or something you just try not to die so regigigas realizes this is serious

Easy fix without overpowering: New ability: haymaker make it for 2/3 turns and no protect or recovery. Attack and speed goes down to 80 its ability switches the speed to 100 and attack to 120 and goes to iron fist afterwards

I'd love to see a run with Phione, given how useless it is. Any game would be interesting.

Victini in B2W2 challenge mode? Haven't seen many youtubers ever even acknowledge Victini let alone use 'em. Challenge mode because Victini is strong.

Fun fact about Slow Start! You mention at the start of the video that it's roughly equivalent to having base 80 Atk and base 50 Speed. But since Slow Start halves the FINAL stat, not the base stat, that means IV and EV boosts are also halved. The better EVs your 'Gigas has, the harder it's hit, to the point that it can actually become slower than a base 50 speed Pokémon would be.

At least Confuse Ray advances the game state by doing damage 50% of the time, Double Team kinda just has you sit there and rely on luck lol, I tried my best!

@@ChaoticMeatballTV Yeah I was being facetious really - any solo run, especially a hardcore one like this, is always going to be hamstrung by options at a certain point. I suppose it adds an element of unpredictability to things too, which keeps it fresh. Good run though, did really enjoy it

Cosmog can't learn any attacking moves. The run is dead as soon as it starts.

How about Suicune only Black 2?

While some of these Pokémon are quite interesting in itself, like Regigigas with its unique Slow Start ability, I am always more interested in seeing more obscure Pokémon work together in a random bunch of misfits way. I would like to see you generate a team of six, maybe with some BST restrictions, or from a lower competitive tier.

Articuno in Ruby sounds like it could be pretty nightmarish for something like this. Early game would absolute bully Articuno's typing, and Steven + Team Magma would probably be more annoying for Articuno than Wallace + Team Aqua, hence why I suggested Ruby over the other two Gen 3 games.

What always confuses me is why can't most if not all fire types learn Flash. A majority of fire types either glow or are literally on fire!

Victini in Black and White would be interesting.

Pokémon black/white 2 with mew or mewtwo since they were pretty quick in the fire red leaf green speedrun.

Regigigas effective base stats isn't 80 and 50 Relative to uninvested mon, Uninvested Regigigas is 71 Attack and 41 Speed Relative to invested mon, Invested Regigigas is 55 Attack and 26 speed Roughly speaking Regigigas(uninvested) is slightly weaker than Alolan Ratata. Regigigas(invested) is slightly weaker than Ratata Pokemon stats works by essentially every 2 stats = 1 BST. For example Azumarill(50) is usually said to be as strong as Groudon(150) since they have very similar stats - 398/399 attack at neutral, 436/438 at + Nature, The stats reduction of Reigigas affects EV gained stats, so the relative BST reduction it got is amplified, just like how the relative gain Azu get is amplified(uninvested Azu is around 124). That said this kind of calc is very funny with power abilities - Primal Kyogre basically have 306 special attack, Solar Power Charizard basically have 188 Base Special attack(essentially making in game Charizard accurate to TCG Charizard gimmick of hitting really really hard)
