Are we ever going to see the return of the True Power series? With the Sinnoh remakes well behind us now, I couldn't even begin to tell you how badly I want to see that! I love these monotype runs, but I always figured they were just a series for in the meantime. Pleeeeeaaaaaase do the Gen 4 True Power videos and Tournament!

I really like that you started giving yourself a starter in many of these runs. I think it's more interesting.

About the Safari Zone encounter, Riolu didn't actually cut off Breloom, as Shroomish can be found in Viridian Forest via headbutting trees. Just a fun fact ^^

Why doesn't anyone ever rematch the Elite Four before Red? They're crazy battles, Lance now has all 3 pseudo-legendary dragons in the level 70's. I'd love to see that in the next run. Great video as always Silph! RIP Ronda

The real mvp of the run was Wade for making it all possible

Also, cackling at the "Second hand gold digging" bit. That's such an amazing joke.

I really enjoy these small edits to impossible runs to make them playable.

something you should give a try is a hgss nuzlocke with only eggs given to you to hatch or bought on the game corner. you CAN'T catch any pokemon. that means you can't allow even 1 of them to die. you can get the 3 eggs from primo and the togepi, you can also buy 3 pokemon on the game corner. that means you have around 7 pokemon to make this shit work. if you want you can also get the almia eggs or if there are pokewalker eggs given to you, you can also use them.

Hey Silph, awesome vid! A tip though: You could have gotten Mankey BEFORE beating Morty. You can actually cross to the other side of the water by running through the cave! No HM's required! Hope this helps for future Johto Runs (my favorite, by the way!)

Liddell has that look in his eyes - it must be the guts.

You can catch a slowpoke, and level it up to level 25, when it learns headbutt. After that, you can headbutt trees for Heracross, technically making Heracross the first fighting type encounter. (ik nobody asked its still a great video anyways and i love when you end these runs at red)

I just wanted to say that I wouldn't mind at all if you repeated the rules every time at the beginning, it kind of gets me pumped lol! Anyway, glad you're back, hope moving went well!

My Favorite Fighting Type Pokémon will always be Lucario. Lucario holds a special place in my heart cause I remember the first time watching my first Pokémon movie called Lucario and the Mystery of Mew. When I saw this Pokémon, I was like wow, he looks so cool! I love it’s design very much plus blue is my favorite color too! Not to mention I was crying a lot seeing Lucario dying when he sees what his friend did before he dies. I was like don’t go Lucario but I’m happy he was reunited with his friend. Sure Lucario‘s defense is bad but it’s an amazing Pokémon with great power and speed.

I love watching heart gold play through, the Kanto region after the whole johto is wicked

Same here, but somehow Silph is always strangely silent on the topic of the Sun/Moon games. I don't think he likes them a lot.

Heck yeah, new Silph content! I'm always super happy to watch your vids If I could suggest a run, mayhaps a run of Pokemon Black with only Fire types? They're pretty rare, but between Volcarona, Emboar, and Darmanitan I think you'll have a pretty fun run on your hands.

You can get the water stone through fisherman Tully on route 42, just wait for that call. Edited: fire stone is given by the kid with the tangela beside the sudowoodo, and the leaf stone is given by the girl with the bulbasaur infront of the daycare. Good luck on future runs

For Thunderstones, Lass Dana on Route 38 can give you them on occasion. Might help if you want to do a mono-Electric run.
