All in all, I'm really impressed with how you played. This course would be really tough without the stiff wind. I'm that kind of wind, you almost have to add a stroke per hole. I grew up in Lubbock, TX. It is in the South Plains, the elevation is about 3200' and it is really flat. This time of year, the typical forecast is 15-25, with gusts to 35. I played a round one day at Mackenzie Park where the guests were nearly 45! It was not a matter of stabling up on the discs, it was more like how can I mitigate the wind or use it to my advantage -- a whole different style of DG. I just had to forget about par, and as you said, "Screw it, I'm just gonna go for it!" Thanks for taking us along on the whole 18. It was quite a ride. If you could just eliminate those brain farts -- throwing it into the ground, etc. -- you'd have had an excellent round.

Not a roll away to steal your victory! I was son nervous when you laid up on 18, then over the pond, then I felt relieved until the roll. Aghhh!!! You will get it next time...In Minnesota it gets pretty windy especially at our open courses. I remember one round @ Bear Cave in Stewartville, MN where it was so windy that I had to layup on every hole, except the few wooded holes that gave reprieve. Any attempt at putting resulted in fly aways that blew the disc sideways and sailed it 40 feet from the hole.

Holston is brutal especially in that wind! Solid round though. Windiest round I can remember is south mountain a couple of months ago. 15-20 and coldddddd. Makes you wonder why we play but just can’t ever give up lol

My windiest round was out at Holston too, I got punished on about every throw and shot +31

My windiest round was Halloween open at Tyger River Park. That back 9 was brutal throwing at 20-32 mph winds. Went from 1st at woodruff and pipeline and finished 7th after Tyger last round. 😢

By the way, the windiest round ever played in was last Thursday at doubles. We played my new upward elementary course in Hendersonville, and what should have been a super fun. Fairly simple round was crazy with all the wind

I would rather play in rain, instead of high winds. I believe there was a Prodigy 2 disc challenge at Upstate years ago where the wind was brutal! I was too disc golf young to know to lay up and kept getting high numbers. I enjoyed the video as usual 👍🏻

My windiest round was a few days ago down here in Florida. Still don’t know how to throw with all different kinds of wind so every drive was a crapshoot😂

Alex Durham and I played a round at central... Absolutely brutal he flipped a Calvin destroyer... on 6F and it nearly cleared 9F fairway

Nice try next time you’ve got it for sure. The windiest round I’ve ever played was at wofford a few weeks ago the wind was so terrible making 8-10’ putts was basically impossible. I also mostly use understable drivers so a lot of my tee shots were flying complete opposite then planned. Showed me I definitely need to add some over stable wind fighters to the bag (just need to find more I actually like, other then my Zeus lol)

My windiest round was my first tournament. 25 mp winds while it was over 100 degrees out, and let’s just say that that round was not my greatest.
