Two years after his dad’s death, actor and comedian Greg Davies retains a sense of connection to his Welsh roots, and wants to explore hints of a family secret.

Greg Davies's father made sure that his son was born on Welsh soil so that when Greg became a rugby international, he would play for Wales. Fortunately for comedy, Greg showed little talent for rugby, but he retains a sense of connection to his Welsh roots and, two years after his dad's death, wants to know more about them. Greg gets more than he bargained for when he identifies a wayward great-grandfather but is rewarded when the trail leads further back to the deepest Welsh roots anyone could wish for.

I think this show was before Rhod appeared on TM.
How to drive me crazy? Put these out before you have all of them, and keep them diced up with lots of commercials. I'll keep watching, you know I'll keep watching. Bastards.

Started looking into my family history years ago, i have discovered my family living in a village not more than 15 miles from where i live back in the reign of Henry 8th. I have also found out the family were founding fathers of the USA & i have uncovered some very famous relatives!. It really is a brilliant thing to do, finding your roots.
Did ANYONE realise that the door knocker is pretty darn high for that door at his mum's?!
Of course she made the father up. She is not going to say to the vicar '' Oh, I don't know who my Dad was, I was illegitimate''

He descended from a 12th century Prince of Wales from Owens family
Well I can tell you that me and Greg are cousins were both descended from the people who lived at cwm mawr , we are not just descended from Owain Gwynedd, there are many many many many more named famous people, my research goes back to the crowned heads of Europe, 20 years of work , well worth every second
Can we talk about how Greg's nain looks EXACTLY like Stephanie Cole, the actress who plays his aunt on Man Down??

If she worked as a maid for a family and the two daughter's father is unnamed, my guess is that it would be either the head of the household she worked for or another male family member within the family who impregnated her either consensually or unconsensually.

The truth is that there are plenty of men raising other mens children it happened then and it's happening this very minute! Unless the kid looks exactly like you, you can't trust it!
